"We spent over a month here and I will not be returning. I feel many people are feeling this as well. Not good for a small island and few tourists. After the hype of FL due to Covid settles down this area will be hurting for business as they already are.... You can feel it with the lack of workers and quality of food. Regardless of the houses pricing wise. This place feels cold due to non Americans running it and that's okay because everyone experiences different personalities from where they are brought up. I honest wouldn’t even give them 1 star but had no choice. Not only are they the rudest people ever but they are unsanitary! The ice cream wasn’t even good. Don’t waste your time. Drive a few extra miles into Sanibel and go to Pinocchio’s or Joeys Custards.

I walked in only 10 flavors. I ordered mint chocolate chip shake he said that will break the blender . I said can I have a cookies and cream shake he sighs and puff and said fine. He said to person front me can you not read because he asked if he can have a sample. there was a no sample sign but small so the man did not see it. only exact change or credit . the shake was not good all milk no ice cream. he starts to roll his eyes. if I could I would give him a zero star rating. WORST customer SERVICE have EVER!!! very uncomfortable.would NOT RECOMMEND!!!

"eat a good menu and quality; although the decor is a bit dated. then again. most of the things on the island. so with that said decor could use a neat to together with the rest of the room. two mirrors that look into the bar from the herren room is not ideal, nor the late 90’s dinning room. the menu and the wine list are impressive with wonderful specialties. the sea bass on a bed of the sweet risotto was very delightful and the beginning of the escargot was devine. about all a good experience with the charm of the old world (the last 90s) and the great eating. dinner for two (appeared, 2 dinners, 2 desserts and 3 glasses wein) for $150 is not bad at all! So they give this place an attempt to not consider the device."

"Our waitress, Kayla, couldn 't have been any nicer. She was busy and disappeared occasionally when we needed her but we understood. She still tried to spend time with us when she could. The couch fritters were great! The other sandwiches were below average unfortunately. Cheeseburger in Paradise was not good as it didn 't have the beef flavor... Been in the restaurant business so the beef flavor is from the quality of beef they order. The grouper ruben was not as good as our local grill. I like a simple thing like adding a nutty salty cheese would pull the flavors in better. Overall, we had a great time because of the waitress and the band. We didn 't like the food so we look most if it home. Service really does make or break a place. We would go back just for the fun atmosphere but maybe only get the conch fritters and drinks."

"One of the best places to dive! Amazing lamb, delicate, falls out of the bone. Macadamia crossed groupers over Quinoa. Laugh over a bed Risotto. All perfectly prepared for perfection. Her warm spinach salad was also delicious. Crème brûlée or Key Lime pie was from this world! Reserve in advance as the sun is within a certain time frame. If you have forgotten to make a reservation, take your chances and ask to eat in their bar. The service and food are also wonderful. Something else, your service is just as fantastic, but Scott is one of those shiny stars. Thank you for making our experience so special! He treats all he serves with the same gentle and professional way. You are the best!"
