"I've been here for years. Why? Because the bagels are the best. beat panera and johnny are easy. are the owners goofy and quirky? Yes, they make me laugh. immigrants work well in the age of rent to make a living. the place is unorderly and in the necessity of renovation, but they probably support a small village somewhere. As long as the bagels are good, I will return."

This location seems to be in need of employees. The bagels were stale, and honestly, what could be worse than a stale bagel? A rock-hard bagel from a filthy restaurant. On a positive note, the man and woman working there were very friendly and patient.

I ordered the Nova Lox bagel but didn't request any modifications. Instead of what I expected, I received a couple of thin slices and no capers. It wasn't very good, and I was quite disappointed since I had heard a lot of positive things about this place.

I ordered a cheese steak from this restaurant, and it was a disappointment. There was barely any meat on a thin piece of bread, just a few tiny pieces of onion and some small bits of pepper, along with cheese. I've never seen a cheese steak this thin and small, almost like a McDonald's burger. It was one of the worst I've ever had.

"Let me start by saying the only reason this place doesn't get a five star is because of the wait. In fairness my friend and I were there on valentines day so we had extreme patience with the servers. I had a reservation for 2 and when we arrived they tried to seat us at the bar (on Valentine's Day! . No bueno. We said we would wait for a table, that took about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. Once we were seated it took about 25 minutes or so for the waitress to come get our orders. We had prepared in advance and ordered all courses in that first round so that the food could just steadily come out. We had the ginger salad, the dressing was one of the best I have ever had. Next we shared the Sweet and Sour Soup, it was absolutely delicious, lots of flavors and textures and had a bite! Our appetizers were both sushi and we found them to be excellent and fresh. For Entree's I had the filet which I found to be one of the BEST I have ever had in my life. I brought some home and I was able to cut it with a plastic knife the next day after warming it up! My friend got the Tempura which was also delicious. The sauces were all spectacular as were the roasted vegetables. My only complaint was A. our reserved table wasn't ready and B. The time it took to get through the meal. While we enjoyed our evening it was a 2 hour and 15 minute meal. I feel like 1 hour and 45 minutes MAXIMUM for our courses would have felt more comfortable. Generally speaking we loved it and we will be going back again!"
