"Similar to the other reviewer, we intended to go to Yolk Restaurant, but the wait time was incredibly long, so we decided to double back and stop at Mei's on our way to the hotel. There were five of us, all visiting from out of town, and we were all so glad we chose to stop here. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the waitstaff was attentive and polite. They really made us feel like we were in small-town America rather than a large city. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices made for a fantastic experience. If I ever return to Chicago, I will definitely eat here for their breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this place!"

I intended to visit the restaurant next door, but there was a wait. I'm so glad I decided to go to this one instead! The service was quick, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was plentiful—I counted six servers and two busboys. I highly recommend this spot on Michigan Avenue.
