"The food was decent but the service was awful. I requested a very small modification and was completely ignored. The dining room was empty so it was not like the server was busy, she was just disrespectful and rude. I just accepted to not make my dining partner uncomfortable but should have sent it back bc now I feel ripped off as it ruined the meal and made it inedible. Also, when paying $25 for an entree, why not add a few vegetables to the plate?? That was bizarre. I'm not paying for a 10 cent plate of rice. We have never been disappointed with any meal we have had at Mill Street Bistro. This is high quality food prepared in a manner worthy of a big city restaurant. Flavorful does not do the food justice. Order your steak the way you like it. That's the way it arrives at your table. Service and drinks are also first class. We recommend getting your reservations early. A real feather in the cap for Bayfield. Save the drive to Durango and save some money to boot!
