"Very friendly staff. I go there 20 to 25 minutes before closing, not planned, and expected to hear the grill was off and the soup was gone. Neither happened. I tried a cup of gluten free Cream of Broccoli soup and 2 eggs scrambled with one slice of cheddar cheese and a slice of bacon and extra crispy spuds. Lately I've been craving a crispy piece of bacon with my eggs and it wasn't greasy. It was just right. I wasn't the only late comer to the party. Someone else came in for some cran-apple pancakes, as another for half a grilled ham and cheese. Then I think at least three others as well if not more. I wasn't there to review and observe. This was my first time back in years, very nice changes. A whole new dining place. Went for breakfast, everything was good and the service was outstanding. I'll definitely return.

Mitchell's is a great little family restaurant. We came in within 40 minutes to closing, but we're not rushed. Our food was brought out quickly, and fully met our expectations. Well pleased, and would recommend them to anyone. Sorry, no pics.

A wonderful experience. This local restaurant is very family friendly and you can make a nice breakfast or lunch at home like Mommy did it. Great service from staff with delicious food. I had 2 eggs, sunny side up haash brown and toast. I didn't have my phone at the time for pictures, but please see the site and take your family and visit. Thank you. Mitchell's staff.

"Ordered takeout four vegan dishes, one gluten free. We called to make sure the curries and pad Thai could be made without fish sauce, and were told “yes”, if ordered with veg/tofu. Got the yellow curry, masaman, and pad thai x2. Paid extra for brown rice. Somehow we got white rice too (which went uneaten Great portion sizes, and it was still hot 40 mins later. Very good!"

"We had just toured the Rockingham Historical Site very nearby PJ 's Pancake House in Kingston so we dropped in for lunch afterward. I have to agree with some of the other Reviewers that the prices are towards the high end of the scale for pancakes; but the variety of pancakes far exceeds what you would see in the average neighborhood pancake restaurant . We had the Caramel-apple Pancakes and the plate of 5 was more than enough to split between my wife and myself (which also helps to lower the 'per-person ' cost). The taste was quite good, the coffee was very good and quite fresh, and the service was all one could ask for. If you are looking for a 'different pancake experience ' I would recommend PJ 's."

"The bento boxes are huge!!! You could feed four people with this. I've been eating for an hour and a half and only finished one of the four compartments and some of my soup. The dumplings are good (I think they were shrimp Simao but not at all fishy). Miso is perfectly balanced. Only complaints is the sauces aren't labeled and there was only one shrimp tempura the rest was all veggie tempura. You can feed four mildly hungry people with this."

"my wife and I have chosen 153 to celebrate our jubilee and so glad that we did. we are not since pre-Covid times and the place still offers great food and excellent service. the restaurant was full and our server was busy, but attentive, friendly and prompt. we had both seafoods that were perfectly cooked and served hot. appetizers and cocktails were excellent. I'll wear a pullover next time because I was a little cool, but it was a perfect evening. thanks for helping us celebrate our big day 153!"
