"Since December 2012, Mondo Taco has been a frequent stop for me when I’m in the LA County area. Mondo Taco has what you crave – anything that crawls, grows, or swims is combined with their world flavors for unbeatable delights. Proprietor, Sam Spector, has done a really great job with the food which carries through to his employees. You can see their pride in the food through their eyes. In February 2014, Sam made the move from the original, rather compact location on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles to spacious, upbeat digs in AO retail/residential building on Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica. The new digs include two spacious dining rooms with bright colors and larger kitchen space."

"Expensive, but based on the service food and atmosphere I?m not sure I found it quite worth it, although some of the dishes were very good. Very casual vibe. Kind of a chaotic atmosphere. There were like 5 staff for every guest, and SO many open tables but they apparently still couldn?t seat us outside without a reservation so be sure to get one. My advice based on my last experience: come for the pizza, not the pasta. The margarita pizza was delicious! Loved the thin crust. They serve the pasta on plates instead of bowls to give you less of a portion. My boyfriend?s pasta with butter, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of Parmesan was very expensive and very good (can you really f that up? Lol). I wish I could unorder my squash ravioli, which was bland and unbalanced. I even asked for salt, pepper, and cheese after to try and give it some flavor, but to no avail. It was like the chefs totally forgot to salt the dish while cooking it. For the two of us (no alcohol and not very much food between 3 entrees), our bill was over $90, and we didn?t leave that full, so prepare for that if you?re hungry."

"While the place is small may not have much seating, don't let that discourage you from trying out the delicious donuts! One of the standout features of this place is the incredibly friendly owner and staff. Their warm and welcoming attitude is definitely a plus. let's talk about the donuts themselves they are fantastic! From classic flavors to more creative and unique ones, there's always something new to try. "The large Godmother sandwich was delicious, although the bread was difficult to chew. Perhaps that is the intended style of the bread. The bread was fresh, and the deli cuts were excellent and delicious. The tiramisu was amazing! I will definitely be ordering from here again."

"It's Monday, everyone! We hope you had a restful weekend. We want to share with you one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants in Santa Monica. We recently went back to try some new dishes on the menu at the restaurant. The grilled salmon was incredibly delicious, with juicy and perfectly cooked fish. One of our favorite sides is their dolma, which consists of grape leaves stuffed with rice and rose sauce. Another standout dish was the chicken shawarma, which was also incredibly tasty. If you're in the area, be sure to check out this restaurant. Our recommendations are the Grilled Salmon Plate and the Chicken Shawarma."

"Nikki was a fantastic ambassador of Pita House Inc. Very patient, friendly, and professional kindly explaining the best food options on the menu, what to try next time, etc.The food was also very good. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and the hummus. I’ve personally been to Lebanon (the restaurant is owned by a Lebanese family), and this is one of the best I’ve had in the US in terms of quality, taste, and freshness.Highly recommended."
