"If you miss them at their bakery in Chinatown, you have a second chance at Munchies! We enjoy Mei Lai Wah apos;s Pineapple Custard buns, Pineapple Roast Pork buns, Steamed Roast Pork Bun, Baked Roast Pork buns rice noodle rolls at least a couple times during our stay in NYC! The buns are soft pillowy, they apos;re generously stuffed they apos;re always hot out of the oven-fresh! Our favorite rice noodle roll is the beef with bitter melon but it apos;s only sold at the bakery. We gave the popcorn chicken a try...YUM!"

This location is not as good as the one in Chinatown. The pineapple bun here was dry and tasted like it was a day old. The drinks are overly sweet and overall bad!

the excitement of a mei la wah spin off opening up near my job was quickly doused with the lack luster portions and overall lack of flavor. i have photos but are unable to post. was given a tiny cup with a few pieces of Popcorn Spare Ribs for 5.50 which hardly seems worth it. the Pineapple Roast Pork, while expected to at least contain pineapple, disappointingly only had a type of "pineapple" flavored crust on it. the Baked Roast Pork are always a fan favorite but also lacked flavor.
