"The three times we visited this fine family-run restaurant, which we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and the waiting staff. Cartridges eating there were also friendly and committed. When checking out lately my wife and I were pleasantly surprised that a cartridge had paid our tab anonymously. This is definitely a place in Ashtabula!"

"Large bar seating area, small outdoor terrace. Great variety on the menu from bar food to Italian. They had specializations on board in the bar area. Limited beer, but good cocktail menu. Low key atmosphere with low illumination. Service was good and everything was quite basic. Large parts."

"There is nowhere better to eat in Ashtabula. I mean, it's not even close. My second dining experience here, on 6/19/21, was top notch. The wine selection was incredible. The food was, to borrow the cliche, to die for. The sheer amount of flavor combinations you can create from the Chef's Board bordered on the absurd, in a good way. And that Mediterranean Bruschetta? That wasn't just food; that was an experience. Practically needed to recompose myself after that first bite. Between the board, all three courses, plus dessert, you simply can't leave there still hungry. You can't leave unsatisfied (unless you do something like order fish and you don't like fish, but that's on you). The staff was always friendly and prompt, even as the dining area started to fill up. I only had one slight complaint in that my whiskey arrived neat instead of on the rocks. But that's nearly splitting hairs at that point. My wife and I plan on making this spot a regular place to go around our anniversary."

"I brought my mom and myself to the restaurant and there was only one person working and doing all the cooking and waiting on tables? The menu was ridiculously priced. 60$ for a steak? We ordered drinks, coffee and a **** Mary and waters. It was over 15 minutes to get water. We ordered shrimp cocktail and caprese. The shrimp was gooey and the caprese lacked fresh tomatoes and cut basil leafs. We left without ordering a dinner because there wasn't anything my Mom could eat. The atmosphere outside was great but to get there, it requires a lot of stairs. The food quality was very sub par for the prices. Service was awful. 5 stars"
