"10/10 I have been here for about 5 years and have never been disappointed! My favorite thing is the “full Monty” super good and I usually can’t finish the whole thing. If you are looking for a diner/cafe, the classic diner has the feeling, and is exactly what you want. Always warm and welcoming and pleasant. The only problems you may run into is that because it is very good and very popular, it can be a bit crowded late morning, but if you need to wait, it is good worth it"

Warm but filling and delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner spot. Fast service and clearly a favorite memory of many of our older locals they know what's on!

There's something to say to have been here for a while. This is simply great home food with service second to none. People treat you like family except they do not tell you to do the dishes: . The dishes are excellently prepared. Ask for family meals .

The café you remember from your youth with Grandpa. This place is directly from history past and be grateful. Great people, great food, great cake! Had the Café Special, North Highway Special Rare Beef Sandwich. Huge sandwich full of taste and the Au Jus served with is to die. Warm blue berry pie to finish the meal was exactly what the doc prescribed (ice cream usually comes with, I didn't twist though. When I see my figure, a guy must have his limits you know...

"I have no doubt that Jakers was an amazing high-end restaurant at some point. This is no longer the case. The amount of money we spent here was more than any other restaurant in East Idaho, and the food was the worst we ever tasted. My husband and I have heard amazing things about Jakers for years, so we decided to try. We expected the high price day, as well as amazing food. Only one of our anticipation has been fulfilled. For appetizers we got coconuts and they were delicious. I was shocked how big they were. There were only 4, but we were all right about that, given their size. If that was the only thing we got this night, this review would be much different. Next we got our soup and salad. My husband got the stopper salad and became of how tender it was. He said he could've got it out. I have the Clam-Chowder that was a premium page????, which means it was an extra $2.50. I was disappointed by how tiny the bowl was, and even more disappointed after tasting. It tasted like it came from a cafeteria. Not good. Next came the main course. My husband has the main rib that was amazing. You did a good job here. He also got the loaded pommes (an extra $2.50 fee... and they were underwhelmed to say the least. Hardly any cheese placed on a bell of acid cream over the frits. My almond-crusted chicken could have come from a diner. Nasty is the best word to describe it. It was served over rice, which made hardly any appearance. With how cheap rice is, I would have expected more than the 1/4 cup I was given. It was also watery. I have the loaded baked potato (still another premium page with a $2.50 charge. It was ok, but my husband gave me the sour cream from his pommes to not be so dry. The bright place of the evening was our server. I wish I had taken note of her name because she was very sweet, attentive and friendly. I appreciate the attention she gave us in the first part of our visit, and the freedom to eat and talk uninterruptedly when our food arrived. I'll leave this review to show me that. I'll take care of the good people of E. Idaho. Don't come here to your chic dinner. Go somewhere else. It's not worth the $100 bill. Mitchell 's or Smitty 's would have served a better meal."
