"Visiting as I was from NorCal, I was impressed with their attention to detail Its Its are on the menu! Oh and the drinks were good too; I enjoyed a dark and stormy and got good reports on Manhattans. Given the 20 degree weather we would have enjoyed a hot toddy, which I can get in Berkeley but not here : . Generally though, nice place to meet friends; warm atmosphere and not too loud."

I came here late last night around 1AM and they serve craft beer, which is cool. They also have a pretty rad back room with books, a pinball machine, couches and darts. They were also playing some good music. Great prices and a neighborhood gem.

Decent choice for a beer in the neighborhood they've got a fairly extensive selection of interesting and seasonal options on tap, plus bottled beers and cocktails. The decor is geared toward making northern Californians feel nostalgic, and there's a shabby sweet game room/library in the back.

Amazing microbrew bar with great pub food menu. The decor has a Northern Californian theme and feels comfy and homey. They have a cold box keg fridge right behind the bar so the beer tastes even better because the tap lines don't go far. Books, darts, board games, readings, trivia, sports... This bar is near perfect.
