"What a cool place! Here are many beautiful details. The bar is very classic, but also north woody. There are tables on the side if you want to hang around a bit. They make a great old fashion. The dining room is also stylish northern forests. White paper tablecloths, candle, large windows overlooking the lake, lots of wood. The food is also quite brilliant. I love a Relish tablet and Pinewood has a good one. There is a very tasty bathroom for fresh vegetables. It is spiced and trust me, you will like it. We didn't have the baked French onion soup because they had a delicious Chicken Spetzal Soup. Yum! The Halibut Oscar was as good as he looked. It was served over perfectly boiled asparagus....

Super good food, fantastic service. Place was packed, but there was no delays. Sadly, it's two hundred miles from home. The meal was a pleasure and a special treat.

The drinks bartender, Cindy, were wonderful. The food our server, Jennifer, were spectacular! It was my first time trying both the Calamari Fresh Halibut Oscar. I would highly recommend both!!!

My new favorite! Loved our server. The drinks were good- generous pour on the liquor with the old fashioneds- but I guess this is Wi. Moscato was delicious. They had a ton of seafood options, some pasta, and plenty for the meat eaters as well. While there is no salad bar- you get one with your meal in a generous portion. Many of their dressings are homemade. Your table also gets relish trays, and rolls. We had a lot of fun- and the food and experience were top notch. We drove over an hour and a half and will do so again.
