"When I chose Trattoria Toscana I had circulating in my head thought that with such a popular location at the old Tempelhof airport could be in really nice Italian trattoria?! In the final balance my intuition failed me. The restaurant looks really good. You can feel the atmosphere of Italian street and certainly accommodate the whole Italian family. I really like the food and you do have vegan options. I ordered pasta with garlic, spinach and olive oil. It was quite tasty but the portions were too big which lead to the waste of food. The restrooms weren't that nice but it wasn't disgusting or anything like that. The staff was very polite and helpful! The price is great especially the price of the pizzas. What I didn't like was the view but I'd still recommend trying this place if you're looking for a great Italian restaurant with an amazing price point.

What can I expect from an Italian place right outside of the sbahn station? Not much. I've been a little surprised but this place is nice. The menu is rather messy and the place is rather dark even though there's sunlight. A place that claims to be pure Italian and serves mixed ground meat (beef and pork) together really pisses me off, DO NOT try to save money on this. It tastes worse- and then comes this fun time where I have to start looking for something else. Bread is served to the table but nothing comes with it, how about some balsamic and olive oil?
