"I made a last minute solo reservation and am so glad I did!! My seat was up at the bar near the kitchen so I could see all the action. The servers were so friendly and helpful in answering questions. Definitely get the ham appetizer and the bread— the best I’ve had in ages. The cresta pasta entree was so good and vegetarian, though it tasted like roasted chicken!!!"

The food was fantastic, the drinks are stong and the decor is nice. Will definitely come back again! Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and suggested the biscuits, which were amazing!!

Despite the website stating that the commissions and passport were open, both turned out to be closed when I arrived. I was confused as to why they had accepted my reservation and asked for confirmation. It was incredibly disappointing to arrive and discover that everything was closed.

Particularly if you’re an oenophile (or, like me, just a cork dork), they have a limited but excellent selection of wines on their list and a modest corkage fee if you want to enjoy that bottle (those bottles) you’ve been laying down for years. "The staff are very friendly, the host when you first arrive was friendly and accommodating. I arrived quite early for my reservation and she was able to confirm our spot. The male waiters were very friendly. I found our waitress to be fine and seemed to rush through our service. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot. The flavors in the food you could taste, presentation was great. The high table wasn't functional for us to have lunch, we would have preferred a different table. It was tough to eat at."

"So we did guys night out last night and we had an awesome time! Our waiter did a great job and we loved the food!! I ordered the Ponchatrain dish and the Bananas foster for dessert. The dessert was so good I wanted to bribe the waiter for the recipe. Yes it was that good!! I’ve been here a few times before and it was impeccable service every single time. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in all of Houston!!! Highly recommend!!!!!"

"the cocktails were wonderful. the escargot was in order, but I would have preferred it in the bowl with melted butter and garlic. total were the appetizers (we had 3 different,) but the portions were tiny. the deencomfit was very dry and the pommes fries were quite tasteless. the muddles were terrible. the deserts were wonderful. service was excellent. I would recommend for cocktails, appetizers and desserts."
