"The exterior building sign still says Ransone 's Drug. The window signage reads 'The Buchanan Fountain and Grille ' who now operates the food service there. They serve breakfast all day. Since I was going canoeing with Twin River Outfitters, I had the Build Your Own Omelet with everything except the bacon and sausage. It comes with string hash browns which does not need ketchup, a biscuit, and a drink. All was excellent. My spouse chose the Grilled Chicken Salad, also excellent. Homestyle dinners, burgers, subs and pizza are on the menu. Seating is limited They also serve Hershey 's ice cream and old fashioned milk shakes and floats. Will come back for those."

At first it appeared to be a step back into the past, and in a way it was. The decor is vintage, but charming. The food is good, especially the homemade potato chips! Our waitress was incredibly sweet, kind and terrific. Special note: The rest room really is in the right!

We love this ole drug store as it has been a part of our lives since the 50's. The new owner is doing well at providing satisfying meals at good prices. We love their Malts and Milk Shakes. Definitely a blast from the past! Wish they would open the soda counter now that Covid is on the wane.
