"I had heard that this restaurant had decent sushi and wanted to try it out. My son and I decided to stop by today and ordered a sushi roll, 2 ramen bowls, and gyoza with 2 hot teas. When we placed our order, I inquired about the freshness of the noodles and was told by the lady taking our order that this is not Japan, but America. The sushi roll arrived first and it was excellent, I believe it was called the dynamite roll. However, the ramen was a disappointment as it was served with instant noodles and small pieces of beef instead of the traditional thinly cut meat, half egg, and hand-made noodles. The gyoza came next, priced at $9.00 for only 5 small pieces. I would only give this restaurant two stars because the sushi roll was good, but the rest of the meal was a letdown for a Japanese steakhouse. We left feeling disappointed after paying $75.00 for our meal for two people. Shameful!"

"Great food. . I enjoyed the Veal dish with the pappardelle noodles immensely! The bread basket, caprese salad and minestrone are a few other flavorful dishes! The spumoni was split among 3 and so good that we all ordered our own during the same dinner setting. All worth it our wait time and food timing is the only reason I gave this restaurant 4 stars; we waited 15-20 minutes longer than quoted and then dinner was 3 hours from when we were seated. Very worth it but just long sitting time."

"Paghres is a really delicious Italian restaurant here in Montrose. A good place for big groups, families or just on a date. I really want to give it 5 stars, but my experience was just not good enough for it. My meal was delicious and the restaurant was clean and friendly. However, it seemed only a complete lack of communication between employees. We sat almost 10 minutes before we were asked for drinks, because the hostess and waiters did not know who to wait for us. After that it really went smoothly. My wife ordered her chicken Alfredo, and frankly, was subpar best, the chicken was over boiled and the Alfredo himself was very blanching. I want to give him 5 stars, but they didn't make it."

"Let's talk about appetizers chicken dumpling were good, but not the best, salsa that comes with it helps a lot, Calamaris salsa also help a lot. If you want to try a little of everything, the sampler board has a good taste on any food that comes on the plate, also they see that they are different on seasons, the decoration could need an update and also they need music to get a better atmosphere. However, the service also needs a proper training to know how to costumer besides that it is a solid 4. Give them an attempt and we support our local business. If you don't like what you get on your first stop, stop again."

"Fantastic pizzas and great beers. I really enjoyed the Rip Van Dunkel. I challenge you to find a better pizza place on the Western Slope. BRING BACK RIP VAN DUNKEL!!!!!"
