"Good Egyptian seafood cuisine in Astoria. This area is a mini hub for middle eastern restaurants. We ordered 2 Broiled Bronzino fish. The meal came with a small salad, a small portion of hummus and 3 pieces of freshly baked Egyptian bread and 2 portions of rice. Fish was at the point of the totally spoiled outside, but inside was moist and soft to the point of soggy. Somehow there was no taste inside and tasted Bland, while the outer skin was bitter due to Charring. Overall, it was just okay. Bread, hummus and salad were delicious and fresh. Rice was okay. We also ordered Egyptian tea with mint, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. This meal cost us $100 with lace."

The food at Sabry is dying! The seafood combination for two will feed 3-4 people. The bread was the best bread I've ever eaten. The owner was very friendly and we had great service.

Sabry 's is one of the Egyptian restaurants at NY seafood specialty- place is tight but cozy you feel familiar with it thier bread is amazing the best Egyptian bread ever in the US Singari fish is thier signature however thier seafood tajin is not perfect as it should be, seafood soup is nice, salads specially baba ghanog is great but green salad not recommended.Fried calamary is nice a d tasty. The restaurant not serving alcohol only soft drink and none alcoholic beer. You will enjoy atmosphere if you are looking for authentic Egyptian stuff. Last thing average per person price about $45
