"I saw Bistro Shirlee after seeing it featured in a Seattle Magazine for “Best Brunch Spots”. The food here tasted good but the portion sizes for the price did not add up. Also it took them over an hour to get us our food and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. Would I return? Maybe, maybe not. The food was good, the atmosphere pretty but the prices, service portion sizes left me slightly unsatisfied with the experience."

Loved our dinner at Shirlee. The ambience is cozy, yet bright and cheerful. Food excellent, service good as well. Definitely recommend.

Shirlee was a great spot. We've come here twice now, once for drinks and decided we had to do dinner sometime b/c the ambience and the vibe were great. Excellent service!

"I can't even count how many times I ordered from U:Don. While I had not the pleasure to eat, I have become a bit more regular with takeout. portions are excellent, noodles are thick and filling, generous with the meat and give up, and cheap. I could not be happier with my experiences so far, and plan to order regularly. if they are not familiar with soy-based udon, they do one please and instead try the kakuni pork suppe udon as it always makes me absurdly cozy, especially in winter!"

"The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner.My fried said her fried rice was too salty.My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauceThe rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating."

"I want to say thank you to Cathy! She provides the best service!!! Homegrown is one of my favorite salad place. I always ordered from the Capitol Hill one and they have default to dressing on the side. This is my first time ordering here but they have dressing mixed in. I was soooo hungry and when I saw the dressing mixed in, I wanted to cry because that is way too oily for me. I came back to the store and someone told me I have to specifically mention that I want the dressing on the side. I was thinking I’ll never order from here anymore. I wanted to cry. BUT Cathy came out and said she want me to satisfy and she can make one for me!!! OMG The best service!!!! Thank you Cathy"

"the server on the counter looked at me and then suddenly went away when it was my time to order. I stood there confused and then another person came to help. her version of a keks was super dry, covered with a very rubbery jam. I asked for a hot mocha, it was barely served lukewarm. it is not worth a 2nd attempt."

Every time I come in to this location I’m reminded that delivery is so much better than the stepford spouse “welcome” yelled at every person who comes in and fake insincere manic positivity tied to every ingredient requested. This location needs a new culture. It’s stressful to order here.Food: 5/5"
