"Schlemmermeier is known for being one of, if not the top butcher in Munich. When you come across their little stand at Viktualienmaekt, not stopping would be a crime. My daughter had her first ever curry wurst and Pommes and Apfelschorle (apple juice with sparking water). I suspect, I’ll need to recreate this back home in the States… Quick service but really wish they would have had some tables to sit at but in true Imbiss fashion, we stood."

After visiting the Marienplatz, we had a quick bites at this famous delicatessen. The spicy wurst, pork sandwich hit the spot. We also tried the potato pancakes, which they wer delicious as well.

The sausages and potato salad I had from the Lecker Bissen were delicious. Eating then standing in the Viktualienmarkt with the sights and sounds of Munich all around me made for the perfect fast food lunch.
