It's early in the season and the crawfish are small but they're seasoned well. Waiter was okay forgot two different items for us but food was great.

My wife ordered the blackened catfish with ettoufee , and I had the grilled seabass in chardonnay sauce. The food was great, the restaurant was clean and the staff were kind and helpful. We will definitely come here again the next time we're in Brenham.

"It really enjoyed eating here for dinner. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor kitchens. We've been out since it was a pleasant evening. When entering the restaurant, because you need to talk to Hostess for all seats, we went in. Restaurant had a steady flow of customers inside and outside. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was up to 70s 80s Era (I think) anyway music I remembered singing. We sat and our server came forward and continued to tell us about items that are not listed in the menu but were available for the night. We become poised, professional and attentive to our needs. The food was very delicious. We started with Chicken Nachos and they were very delicious. Could have been a duck too. The Nabeby had the doubled pork chops on a bed of apples and onions with asparagus and garlic potatoes and I had strawberry bleu salad. Tea was our drink of choice. Every piece of food was very appealing to the eye when it arrived. Chops cooks perfection, delicate and juicy. Potatoes and asparagus just as delicious. The salad was huge to me and loaded with Bleu cheese. I added grilled chicken. All vegetables were fresh and crisp. All right! We had no better experience. This will definitely be one of our new restaurants. I recommend a nice night."

"Truth BBQ is worth the ride to Brenham. I have a gradual tour through the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ joints, and so far the truth is right there in terms of food. I stopped at the Truth BBQ after I have the legendary snow (which is also brilliant), and I preferred the truth on most things. The brisket is there with the best of them. The pork ribs are probably the best I ever had. The tater dead casserole and baked beans are super delicious. The turkey was moist and tasteful. Seriously, there was no bad bite on the record. The ONLY Downside was the line, but if you can't handle this part of the experience, then you don't earn big Texas BBQ. And this is the TRUTH."

"It is a must go to place for us to get desert any time we visit my mother in law. Key lime pie is our favorite. A big scoop of bluebell is always good too. We do on occasion have lunch as well."

"First-class customer service. Great food and excellent ambience. The little place where we stopped eating while in town for a high school baseball game. A little food, a small grain hole, beautiful music, great people all the way around. If you want to know how small town feels good business, make sure you stop because this place it is."
