"Iâve been eating at Socarrat since it opened in 2008 and this last experience was disappointing. I invited some friends to join us for my boyfriends birthday dinner and was very excited for them to experience one of my favorite restaurants. The tapas was delicious. Staff was wonderful and sangria was amazing. But the paella has lost a lot of quality. The namesake Socarrat was not present and the two paellas were delivered cold. eating is not good- didn't feel fresh and the seafood paella smells. I would also not recommend for restaurant week. definitiw no good paella.
