"Service was friendly and dishes came out fast. The nigiri was quite a disappointment, however. The salmon was SO FISHY and had to be dunked in soy to be edible. This was sadly the worst sushi I've had in quite a while. Maybe the rolls or cooked meals are how they have such a high rating, but I would not recommend the nigiri. I even had a hard time with the seared salmon, which is typically a safe bet, even for sushi-go-rounds (which this is not). On top of that, the portions were TINY and expensive (comparable to the most expensive top-end sushi restaurants in Portland). We left to go eat somewhere else, it was that bad."

Walked in on a Thursday night about 45 minutes to close and Sushi Ave did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and the staff were all super friendly. The potstickers are crispy (I highly recommend! . We ordered multiple options to try it all and we were so happy we did because everything was amazing!

The sushi at this restaurant is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I absolutely loved the Volcano Baked Roll, which was filled with a generous amount of crab. My boyfriend ordered the sushi deluxe platter, and it was all fantastic. The Veggie Gyoza was also incredibly tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant as often as possible. It is truly the best sushi in town.
