"That was our second time here. What an amazing culinary experience!!! The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly and about service. Food was excellent. We ordered Grandmakase and the cook just kept things. Every dish is more delicious. The presentation, the textures, everything was perfected. He even made a sampler of more adventurous foods that we are totally the adventurous species. I highly recommend this place if you are a fan of really good sushi, fine food and/or an adventurous food."

Every time we go in, we try something new, last night the oyster was a bit of a bit to prep this particular role, but it was good to wait. Chef Jun and the rest of the staff are always attentive and if I say a negative about this place, it would be that I don't have a big enough stomach to eat everything on the menu.

Fresh, clean and remarkable. That's super sushi and one of the best I had in time. The Village Dragon is amazing, it is unagi with a beautiful topping finished with a delicious sauce. You will not find any sushi place like this within a 15-20 miles radius. Extremely friendly staff, very attentive and great interlocutor. If you're in this area, it's a must!

"Antebellum is one of the 100 best restaurants in the USA on Open Table and I'm here to say it's well deserved. DH took me here for my birthday today and everything was amazing. Service was wonderful and our waiter was both informative and enthusiastic about the menu. The restaurant is a converted older south house and unique. We started with the free maize bread and green tomato jam (hot and fresh, very good) and then we had the baked Brie appetizer. I love baked Brie en croute anyway, but that was the next stage with the port wine reduction. Between apps and entrees we had a beautiful little butter salad with goat cheese and lemon vinaigrette, which was refreshing and tasteful. DH had escaped the halibut. He said that it was perfectly and really tasty cooked, but the spiced popcorn found a bit of a failure with the textures on the plate. I had the braided bovine bolognese and no exaggeration, it was the best Bolognese I ever had (and I had some good Bolognese). It was rich, comforting, so many layers of taste. The house made Gnocchi really supplemented the sauce and brat beef and the pepadews and goat cheese took it to the next level. DH liked it better than his halibut. For Dessert we had the sticky cake and I thought I was too full to enjoy it, but it was so amazing that I found room for it. Absolutely a must try. When it was my birthday, they also brought me a warm chic cookie with ice and an illuminated candle. Nice touch. Ambience, service and food were stellar. My most sincere compliments to the cook and the staff."

"I really wanted to like this place. The description is a hip place on the lake with a deck, live entertainment, good food and good drinks. I’ve traveled all over looking for these type places, and there are some awesome waterfront party palaces designed to guarantee a good time; Fish Tales is not one of those places. It has the potential, but incompetence and mediocrity ruin it. The service We waited over an hour to get in. We met our waiter when we were seated, and then he disappeared. Any time we wanted anything we had to ask another wait staff member to please hunt down the jerk. The Food and beverages I be never worked in a restaurant, so I am completely perplexed as to how on dish of food it has some pieces that are scathing hot, while other pieces are hardly thawed out. Are the dishes supposedly deep fried or grilled, or are they really microwaved or boiled in a bag? Also when you walk up to the restaurant the air is devoid of the smell of anything being grilled! Regarding drinks avoid the draft beer. $9 for a regular size draft that was both warm and flat. The beer was so pukey I quit after 2 (if I was smart I should have left after 1). The Entertainment this place is a cash cow sitting on the shore of Lake Lanier. It should be able to afford some outrageous entertainment. WTF we ended up Barney Fife playing an acoustic guitar, and even though he was plugged in, you couldn’t hear him more than 30 feet from the stage (which may actually have been a good thing seeing as he was playing elevator ballads). In summary this is a dynamite location for what should be one of the most memorable places in Georgia, but it fails in every way."
