"Glad to know it was not in my head. As someone else commented, I also experienced being ignored at this establishment. All patrons should be treated equally and guests should be greeted as well as tended to in the order they come into the establishment. I respectfully noted this to the front desk personnel and they responded with defensiveness/rudeness. And, all of a sudden they told me they were fully booked. We have experienced an extremely rude and sarcastic tone from the hostess who (completely ignored us and sat the group BEHIND us first) informed us that they are “fully booked”. This type of behavior and attitude is completely unacceptable. Judging from previous reviews, this is a common experience that this establishment provides.

I'm surprised I've never heard about this hidden gem of a Thai restaurant. Most mid-scale/high-end Thai restaurants use a very lazy strategy of simply swapping in higher quality ingredients to upscale the dish. Not here. This dish feels entirely unique (to me, at least), blending cooking styles to put together a dish that still tastes authentically Thai. Volcano Duck (crispy boneless half duck with carrots celery tempura, eggs, spices in traditional pad pong karee sauce) $24
