"Restaurant offers good food and drinks. For being out of the way (kinda out in the middle of nowhere) you couldn't ask for anything more. We've been here countless times and have had a good experience every time. Nice scenery of the lake, goodlocation to the trails and campground."

Excellent Food And Service. Will be Back Next Year! We both had Lake Perch . Beautiful Outdoor Patio, but it was to Cold to Sit out there, but It has A Great View of Black Lake.

Food was really good. Sat out on the deck with the wife, mother-in-law, 2 sons and a nephew. The 3 boys played in the yard while we waited for our food and they had fun. Just an all around good experience. Thank you The Bluffs.

Not impressed at all for the wait or the prices. Burger was $16 and it was a pre made patty that wasn?t cooked to rare like I ordered. Chicken wings were also awful smelling and was tough. Water also tasted and smelled like rotten eggs

"The wife picked TQHWP and I'm glad she did. Got to meet the really cool husband wife team that operate multiple businesses including a theater, bars, restaurants and shopping (i.e. upscale clothes, jewelry and accessories). Tonight was our 10 year anniversary and we're not from Michigan, so finding new places has been challenging... but we were made to feel at home and service was good. I got the Flannel Mouth cider and the wife got a Pinot grigio. To start we split the hummus. She then got the Brie cheese baguette and I got the roast beef baguette . To be frank, one of the better sandwiches I've had in a while. Too often the bread is forgotten and it's just as important as the rest of the ingredients. Got a personal tour of the shops and theater and if our tattoo appointment gets done early enough this Saturday, we'll likely go to the show and get a bit to eat. Really happy how this evening turned out."

"Visited yesterday for some takeout. Boneless wings, ordered a pound bc description said not the weird processed nugget meat you 'll find at most places . Right... they were simply a ball of flour and bread crumbs, deep fried. So nasty. I tried 2 and tossed the rest! The meatballs were just as bad, and quickly joined the boneless wings in the trash. I think the only redeeming Factor was the salad! Gross."

"Very disappointed this evening. I just left the restaurant and I 'm in the Arby 's Drive thru. The service was fine, but the food was awful. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, and it was so bland and it came with broken tortilla chips (like the bottom of the bag). Then we received our salads, and at least a third of the lettuce was brown and rotting. We still had not complained at this point. Then we received our entrees. My partner got liver it was bland, and the bacon was almost raw and seemed to be microwaved. His mashed potatoes were not warm, and the gravy was dripping off the plate. Mine however, I ordered the smothered chicken. It was absolutely appalling. I refused to eat this. It was covered in some kind of coating and it tasted like freezer burnt chicken, which was the ONLY flavor it had. And my veggies were swimming in butter. We spoke to the owner and tried to explain the problems with our meal and she is in complete denial. I even apologized for complaining. We weren 't rude, we were just unhappy. She did try to offer us something else but I that point, I didn 't trust that anything would taste better. We paid for what we ate, and left. And I still left waitress a more than fair tip. You wonder why you 're not busy on a Saturday night? Let 's just say this place isn 't what it was 20 years ago."

"I stumbled into this cute little drive in while traveling with my dog. We were hungry having just hiked about 25 miles on a protein bar. The food was excellent (especially the peanut butter shake! and the service was outstanding. It was so nice to be able to sit in my car with my dog, listen to the radio and enjoy a nice hot meal. My server (can’t remember her name but she was delightful made great recommendations since we were from out of town and everything on the menu sounded good after all that hiking. Thanks so much. We travel to the UP several times a year and plan to make Yecks a regular stop on the way."
