"Exactly as the name implies, you can drive up to the bar in your boat. Definitely bring your own bumpers though because the dock had some potential scratch points. Food was pretty good and has potential to he even better. The cook was on point but the one who assembled the veggies just kinda tossed on the stuff in a funny way. The pickles were floppy but reminded me of old times getting the pickles from the high-school cafeteria. Decently roasted buns with good pub style fries. Bring your own condiments cause their mayo packets have some wild ingredients inside. Went again, the onion rings with ranch is pretty good, there is some rally good mustard on some of the tables"

Wasn't real impressed. The burger was the worst bar burger I've ever had. I've never seen a processed burger in a bar, ever! I'd also recommend washing your windows..

Has a run down charm to the bar and appreciate the feel that this is a trusted, local watering hole. My wife and I ordered burgers as it appeared to be their specialty with fries and onion rings. The burgers resembled square spam that appeared to be microwaved. The patties on both burgers were gray and Luke warm. I’m assuming they don’t have a grill or broiler but should have a hot skillet at a minimum… Otherwise, The beer was cold. Perhaps only order fried food or come with a full belly.

"I tried Union Woodshop for the first time on my way to a concert at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. The trip to the concert hall was a breeze from here and lasted only about 5-10 minutes and without traffic jams as there are when approaching the other direction. There was a 40-minute waiting time to take place so we had an order that was ready to EXACTLY when it was estimated that it was ready and the order was correct. They were very generous with the containers of the BBQ sauce, which are free on request. This place is ideal for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. I ordered the Pretender Burger without cheese or Mayo and substituted with vegetarian dirty rice for frits. I tried the Memphis, Lockhart and Koreatown BBQ sauces. They describe Lockhart as “very sharp” but who has lived in TX as I have) will probably not find it at all. It's good! Koreatown reminded me of sweet acid sauce, but you could say it had a lot of fresh ingredients in it. The next day I used my leftovers as a salad dress, but it would be really good with spring rolls or egg rolls. I used the Memphis sauce on both my burger and rice. I am a long-term vegan, but due to time constraints and other factors, I have not asked to check that the rice and the burger bungalow were fully vegan, so if you do not want any chance to consume something non-vegan, you will ask about this and report back). My dining room partner ordered the Coco house salad, which is herzhafter as the typical side salad, as it has chickpeas and it seems to be vegan if without the feta cheese or the dressing that seemed milk or egg based, although it is possible, it is not, but it looked so to me). Some people find the parking situation difficult, but for me it depends on what you are used to. It is much easier than most big cities, but it is in a “hip” area that can be a little busy. There are some free parallel parking, and a paid lot of $1/hr) over the street."
