"The prices are high and the wait times are lengthy. During our visit, only one kitchen was operational, and they had a limited menu available. After waiting an hour for our food, I was thrilled to see how good it looked. I ordered the étouffée, but I was let down because it tasted more like tomato paste than anything else, although there was a generous amount of crawfish. My friend ordered the Cajun wings but only ate one; we both enjoy spicy food, but they had a rather bitter flavor. I might return for the live music, but not for the food."

The food was fantastic! The only downside was the unexpected $10 cover charge per person. Overall, it was a lovely place for a date, with a great atmosphere and live music.

Then on Friday night (May 6), the tattooed bartender took my order at the bar but never checked on me after that. She served everyone around me but completely ignored my table. I even moved to the other end of the bar to see if I could get service, but that bartender also overlooked me. Both times, the restaurant was not busy at all. Free Man, you’ve lost a loyal customer, and I fear you’ll lose more if your service doesn’t improve.
