The crab, although apparently frozen before, was hot or cold and the main rib was as big as ever. The main rib is served very rarely, but you can ask your server to take it and have to put it on the broiler and cook it longer without foot. We went to the buffet last night 2-19-2020. The food was better than the last few weeks. The only thing I can say is that we want to see ham on the line more often. We miss it. Some of the secondary dishes are a little bland, but I think that's what salt and pepper is. Please keep the good work, and add ham more often during the week. D. R. Wilcox.

buffet still isn’t back yet. i’m sure it’s difficult to plan for how many people might come. instead of buffet they just have a couple of alacarte choices; asian; mexican, and fried chicken or ribs. i ordered their ribs, potatoes and gravy and bisquit. potatoes and gravy were good, but the ribs were dried out. more like jerky. a disappointment after paying $13 plus $2 for a drink. i’ll be glad when buffet is back. you can at least see if the food is fresh on buffet line. it would be good if they included the drink in the price of the meal.

This place used to be my go-to for seafood. They’ve got signs all up and down I-5 advertising “Seafood Buffet Friday u0026 Saturday” but when I arrived today (Saturday) it’s “Surf and Turf” which is apparently some steamed clams and breaded fish with some poorly cooked prime rib... Definitely not worth the price they charge; it used to be well worth the price but not anymore.. They keep spending money on upgrading the place to look nice, but it looked fine before the most recent remodel. They made the buffet much smaller and also lost a lot of quality with the food. Hopefully whoever manages this place comes to their senses about this place being pretty vs having actually good food.

"I'm coming to canyonville and never stopped here. I wish I stopped earlier. do I love their icy coffees that are cookies gravy? like my gmas, breakfast sandwiches are also bombed. I really think it's the best little place in canyonville. the personal is always so sweet and friendly, the cafe is chill/relaxing, it is just so cozy. they also have local objects such as honey, crumbs, tees, art, ek. "My Steak was cooked just how I liked it. The service was great. The restaurant was so loud and hard to carry on a conversation. The seating was table and chairs,which is not a good fit for a romantic dinner. The flatware was mismatched and it was not easy to pick the salad fork out. The bartender knows how to make an awesome old fashioned which is a lost art IMHO."

"For my first time checking out Stix, I'd have to say the experience was a little weird. I'll start out by saying that I came during the Niners/Cowboys game, so it was busy as expected, but there were still open tables and no wait time. My wife and I walked in to grab a couple beers. They have about five on tap, in addition to plenty of bottled options. After about five minutes of standing at the half empty bar, the bar tender took our order. The bartender that helped us was awkward and more concerned with ease dropping on another waitresses table rather than finishing the transaction. When she was done with our transaction, we finally got our beers and went to the casino. A little while later, after meeting up with some friends, we decide to go back into Stix and grab some food. There was a sign that said seat yourself, and I even confirmed with the same oblivious bartender that it was cool to seat ourselves, and she said yes. There were plenty of open tables, but they were all filthy and hadn't been bussed yet. So we stood next to the table for a while waiting for someone to just wipe it down because nobody was around. After about ten minutes, still nobody bussed any of the tables so we were unable to sit down and order. There was no one around to even ask if they could clear one. Since we couldn't get a place for us to sit at Stix, we left and went to K-Bar. It worked out in the end because both the service and the food at K-Bar was amazing."
