"The beans and rice were pretty gross and seemed dried like they had been sitting. The rice was cold and definitely not Mexican style rice. My wife's chicken was disgusting and she tried to get the taste out of her mouth all day. It did not taste like Mexican food. We are from Texas and know what Tex Mex should taste like and it is not this. The Mahi Mahi tacos were good. I enjoyed them. The music and atmosphere are fair. You will pay $4 for chips and salsa when most Mexican restaurants offers chips and salsa for free. The chips and salsa came out hot and tasted pretty good. Employees are mainly congregating and hanging out on their phones rather than customer service."

Great college town burrito spot. Workers are very chill and food is fantastic. Wait was short and price point is perfect. Excellent spot for after a football game or just a chill night. Highly recommended

My new favorite Tex-Mex place. Chips and Guac were awesome. Kiddos filled up on Quesadillas and the Enchiladas were too much for me to finish. Like the scarecrow who won an award, The Iron Daisy is OutStanding in their field.

Menu is extremely hit and miss. The original fried chicken tacos are phenomenal, with enough seasoning and flavor that they really stand out and worth coming for. The quesadillas are also wonderful. Chips were good, salsa decent as well. The crema tacos were very bland, almost entirely lacking seasoning, with only the chicken being the backbone of the flavor profile. Nothing else was really present to make it worth eating ever again. The guacamole was also extremely bland, tasting like it was literally just a mashed up avocado with no salt, pepper, or anything in it. Skip.Stick to the basic menu items, and you'll be fine here.
