"Sooo disappointed because I was very excited to try this place out. We sat down at a reasonable time after we made reservations which was a plus. Our waiter was kind of all over the place he took our drinks and didn’t come back to us until about a half hour later to take our order. I requested for the Korean beef, which he then told me they were out of it, okay...told him to come back. He later comes back and I ask for the Mahi mahi platter. “We’re out of mahi mahi too.” At this point I’m thinking, why hasn’t he just went down the list of what was actually available, but ok...he said they had swordfish instead. Ok fine, swordfish it is. My date decided on the seitan wings and asked for two...

My boyfriend and I went for our first time and overall, had a good experience. We ordered fish and jerk chicken. Both delicious. The sides were a tiny too salty.

An AMAZING dining experience!!! I saw The Facebook video that this restaurant is featured in and immediately knew I had to try it. The concept is unique and the Chef executes the fusion flawlessly. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. My party tried the Seoul wings and jerk mondu as starters. Both were excellent! Very flavorful! The wings were a nice portion size as well. I wish the jerk mondu came with 1 more dumpling (there were 5). For entrees we had Marley's pepper fish, beef bulgogi, and curry goat stew. Everything was good but the grilled peppers on the snapper were especially phenomenal! I do wish the dish were a bit spicier as it claims to be though. I had a watermelon cocktail th...

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
