"Honestly, I really enjoy the sushi at Tsunami Sushi. I am originally from the US but have been living here for years. However, there is one issue that I would like to address – they are misleading customers when it comes to their half off selected rolls promotion on Wednesdays and Fridays. As a new customer, when you sit down, they give you the regular menu, which is not half off. This has happened to me three times (at the Jaco and Guchipelin locations). The service is always good, so I wonder if this is something the servers are trained to do. We visited this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant is situated in a clean and modern strip mall. The staff were very friendly. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. The live music added to the experience.

I often find that many sushi restaurants offer the same menu items prepared and served in a traditional way. However, Tsunami Sushi in Escazu stands out with a fantastic menu that is large, unique, and offers interesting combinations. If you are a fan of sushi or Asian cuisine, this is the place for you. The service is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the decor is modern and stylish.
