"We sat down, Scott and I are celebrating our 27th anniversary. A waiter comes over pours water, says nothing. The waitress comes over takes the order. It’s hot in there, there’s no music playing. I finally asked her to put music on and if they have bread, could we please have some. I ordered a steak , cooked well done. It was rare . I told her about it, she said nothing. I told her plz just bring me a salad. No apologies, no nothing. Drops off the salad. Never once throughout the dinner did she ask, is everything ok? For the amount you pay, I expected amazing service, and my food cooked right. I don’t think I’d waste my time or money going back!"

Beautiful place, everything was good. The only negative was Prime Rib was a little hard to cut. And the soup was hard to eat because the cheese was stringy. Service was good atmosphere was romantic.

Washington Crossing Inn is an elegant restaurant that offers delicious food in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Staff members were friendly, particularly Cynthia who graciously took photos and provided friendly conversation while I was waiting for my friend. The only suggestion I have is to provide a small salad with the lunch entre. We ordered the salmon for $22 and then another $12 for a salad, yet the sandwiches (which were obviously less) came with a salad. That surprised me. But still.. love this place!

"we have just held a thought for my father-in-law in the washington crossing inn and we had the need to publish a review based on the extraordinary experience we had. If you want to keep a small banquet/event in the opposite, I would recommend the wci absolutely. we are not from the immediate area and booked the wci based on previous online reviews and the convenientness of the situation according to the services on washington crossing national cemetery. from the very beginning of our experience, the banquet sales staff were very much tuned to our requests and requests. on the day of the event, the employees of the service (guided by ari who was phenomenal) had traded everything on time and quickly when more tables had to be set up in the last minute (our mistake, as more people visited than expected.) while banquet food legitimately often gets a bad rap, was the food that was served absolutely fantastic (for deserving we were filled with the chicken ship very well. Finally, the historical inn itself is beautiful with several internal and external options for banquets/events. we were in the ballroom, which easily matched our group of 80, with a lot of space for people to mix between tables before and after the meal. I cannot tell them how many compliments we have received from the participants at the venue and the food. we are very grateful to the wci for all her help in providing a wonderful meeting for family and friends to remember my father-in-law. when we find ourselves in bucks county, we will be sure to stop lunch or dinner."
