Soft and fluffy, with a slight buttermilk taste. Strawberries weren't ripe at all though; barely any sweetness in them, though it happens often at other places. It would have been better with good maple or cane syrup; they had Log Cabin, but that doesn't cut it for me(usually bring my own, but sadly, I ran out of mine days prior . Ok...so you see from my rating you there for the food ..that's for sure....service is ok..and atmosphere is very old school..but, thst makes it comfortable....if you haven't tried it you should but go on off hours or there wi be a wait....?
