"Since it was one of the first nicer days of Spring (grey and high 60's), my husband and I decided to take a drive on his lunch break and pick up some lunch on the drive. I mentioned Wendy's and found one out in Maynard. My husband checked Yelp for Maynard and Willy's sounded like a much more fun plan. We made the 40 minute drive and easily found parking out front. Cheese steaks are 2 sizes although the large is only a dollar more. It doesn't matter which additions you add to the basic cheese steak, all are the same price. This really simplified the ordering process. It was about 1:00 and it was still pretty busy. The one super nice man behind the counter took our order and it took around 15...

The food is fantastic and the owners are always working on keeping the options fresh. Very much what the heart of any downtown needs a good non chain sub shop with owners who are hands on, community focused, and friendly.

This place is a hidden gem. I never would have ventured here if not for a kids bday party nearby. While my daughter attended the party, my son and I came here for lunch. I ordered something for us to split: a large cheesesteak with provolone. And accepted a side order of fries for only an additional $1. For drinks, there's a case of canned soda, bottled water, and Gatorade to choose from. Our food was ordered at the counter and delivered to our seats.
