"Two of us went for an early dinner on Saturday. The restaurant is inside a busy plaza in the corner. Walking in they have displayed pictures of their customers I'm assuming on their birthdays. We were seated promptly for a regular table and there was a few other tables there too. They have a small bar area and two sections of hibachi tables available. Our service was attentive and we ordered: 2 waters, hibachi chicken and steak combo, miso soup, sweet potato roll, California roll, and a pink lady roll. There were 5 of us. We all ordered something else. I ordered Steak and Scallops. Two of us had the steak. We were asked how we wanted to cook our steak. We both ordered med-rare, but were done well. Mine was hard to chew and leave most of it. The scallops were okay. I had mixed vegetables that were good. The Japanese noodles were like me in every Chinese restaurant. Yes, Chinese. The children enjoyed watching the Hibachi cookery. It wasn't so bad about a meal, but I won't return.

Yoshimoto is one of the places me and my boyfriend LOVE to go to on the weekends. I?ve done multiple birthdays and dinners there in the past and have NEVER had a problem with them. This past Saturday (yesterday) our food was absolutely disgusting and tasteless. The chef we had burnt our vegetables, which were still hard ? but burnt. We?ve had this chef in the past and he also didn?t cook our chicken all the way through. My boyfriends parents have ALSO walked out on this chef because of a previous bad experience. As you can see ? I didn?t touch my food at all and my boyfriend picked around in his. I will not be returning to yoshimoto for a while.
