"On an Odenwald tour we were in Amorbach and at noon. Appetite had already ceased and therefore our choice after the departure that we received shortly before the butcher Hauck met the Ristorante/Pizzeria Da Marina at the marketplace. A table in the outdoor area at the marketplace told us despite the terrain-related slate and we took place. Tickets were at the table. The menu in it is typical Italian antipasti, salads, pasta, pizza, ....... but all at moderate prices. We experienced the service by a Lord in the sixties with apron. Our drinks selection was quickly completed and delivered. But for 0.20 ltr mineral water we find 1.50 €, so 7.50 € per litre, we find more limited! The apple juice choir 0.4 ltr with 3.00 € also 7.50 €/ltr was not exactly a bargain, but well cooled. From the map we ordered: 1x Tagiatelle all arrabiata subscribed as penne ... to 7,20 € 1x Spaghetti Aglio e Olio to 5,50 €. The two dishes were served hot after appropriate preparation time. Both were saturating. For the eye there were no highlights and tasteful... The dishes were fine, but we both lacked any taste experience. All arrabiata, there is a certain expectation in terms of taste; if it is then only well seasoned, I personally lack quite a lot, in any case the possibility to achieve the necessary degrees of sharpness with a unfortunately not existing spice offer at the table! OK, with regard to the required prices, you can't expect a gourmet cuisine, but a little pep goes without great expense and effort. As we were able to find out from a utterance by the boss, the host here in the square does not seem to lead the place very long. In the case of GastroGuide, another Italian was still listed under the address. Unfortunately, we had to find out that an additional main court was charged to Regina Speciale at 7.00 € . After our intervention, this error was corrected an apology, however, we did not perceive We did not visit the premises in the interior of the restaurant and can therefore not make a judgment. To summarise, there is still a lot of room for development in this area. Just because the competition in the town is more to be called big, there is only little time for improvements in order to develop a good reputation on site as a Ristorante.
