"This is an old building that was apparently pub and restaurant since 1804. It was certainly not updated in a while. But it's charming. The service was first rate and the prices were very reasonable. I have the Chicken Parmesan (which I found in the pasta for some reason) and it was good. It was served with a dinner salad, came with a warm roll, salad dressing etc. My only complaint was the chicken itself was hard. So hard that I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. A colleague of mine got one of the veils and had the same problem, so it was either a problem in the kitchen at night, or maybe this is the way they prepare their meat? The server had a hard time to describe the vegetables of the day. It was Brussels Sprouts and when we asked him how it was prepared, the question came to him. Luckily the table had ordered next to us, the conversation overhears and showed us that the sprouts were roasted. It was a good meal and a pleasant service also with a few small failures and if I am in the area in the future, I will definitely want to turn on again, as the menu is quite extensive with many possibilities to explore."
