"The planning for a meeting among the work colleagues was underway, so that a suitable place had to come. The selection was great, but the possibilities of an agreement low as we are in the Advent season. However, we were able to reserve a large table in the small forests, so there was nothing in the way of the meeting. The highway was easy towards Voßwinkel and then the junction to Echthausen and always with the road you drive directly to him. The parking spaces are unfortunately very limited so you have to look a lot (as in the Advent season). Unfortunately there is no possibility at the edge of the road, because here only one way passes through the forest and you can not only stand in a drive home. If possible, so drive into groups and thus minimize the number of vehicles. The way to the house leads over a staircase. The counter is located in the input area (separated by doors). The left hand, also through a door, comes into the restaurant area. It also has a large hall that can be separated by sliding doors. We were kindly greeted and led to our table. This was decorated with some branches (in the glass) and candles. Since our Dimples were not complete, there was still something waiting, but the waiter still accepted the first drinks requests after a few minutes. As a small hint: beer there are only Warsteiner After our group we were able to find out something that is suitable in the menu. She's pretty clear. There are 3 hot appetizers, 3 salad dishes, 3 fish dishes (Leach, Char and other fish), 3 pasta dishes, 3 meatless dishes, 3 desserts, children's plates (4 or 5) and a few meat dishes. Either Schnitzel Wiener Art or Original Wiener Schnitzel, Waldschlößchenpfanne (with pork fillet and pork steak) with vegetables and roast potatoes, Rumpsteak and a few more. As a supplement, it is possible to choose partly among roast potatoes, pommes, potato salad or potato pulp. The prices are fine, the Schnitzel again type with pommes came 14,90€. There is a salad bar where you can freely use (no extra food). Here there are green salads, pinned carrots, white herbal salad, red herbal salad, tomatoes in slices or pieces, cucumbers in slices or pieces, peppers, peperoni and three sauces. Unfortunately there was nothing in the sauces, we suspected one with garlic, one with yogurt and one against oil with balsamiko. Everything was fresh, crisp and delicious. When our food came, it was amazing. The fillet soup, ordered as main dish, came in a very deep soup plate. The small forest pan is also something for good eaters, but looked delicious. You can either eat from the pan or get a separate dish. The salmon with crust was also good to see, but the fish was made with lots of butter and thus a little greasy. The Schnitzel Wiener Kunst was small, for which two lay on the plate. However, only the outer edge was crispy and in everything was soft and greasy. The taste was ok, the meat was nicely tender. The pommes came in an extra dish, were unfortunately only moderately salted. Manch got the Dessert-Omas vanilla pudding with fruit. The pudding was very easily beaten (like a cream) and the fruits in a small sauce. Both in a separate vessel. The part small but sufficient. The tables were pushed together with us and unfortunately not the same size. But when the drinks were switched off, something had to take care of what contributed to the pleasure of all of us if it did not happen. The toilet is reached by a narrow passage and has three cabins for women. Unfortunately, the tiles are partially broken or cunning, which does not look very beautiful. The soap dispensers on the left and right side of the wall of the sink (there are 2) are probably defective because only one hand soap dispenser (usually common) was ready. In a sink the plug was missing and the water swallowed quite loudly through the pipe. However, there are small white towels next to a paper towel holder. This can be thrown into a basket under the sink after use. When it was paid, we couldn't see a waiter, so we used a bell near our table. Short time later our waiter came. We were kindly cracked and approved. The food (what I ordered) was not a hit now, but I would dare another attempt at a later time. The ambience was nice, at the Christmas celebrations of course a little louder than normal (I guess) but still very pleasant."
