"Well this is a well known place. Many local go there and has good food.. me and a local went to eat at 2:30 pm and as soon as me and my local friend that’s lived here all their life was told “Sorry we are closed” as the male waiter has plates in his hand! The female waitress who knew my friend saw us and the look in her eye told us she knew …. This is a huge disappointment. Does this place make so much money they turn people away that has eaten there for years turn people away!! Super disappointed!! "My partner and I love this place! I think it might be my favorite restaurant in BR. I get the junkyard dog with fries on top and it’s just so good. We’ve only eaten here twice and got our food to go both times but the staff are the kindest in town. They always let us know about their extra seating and bring it out to us. The manager must be awesome if the staff is always that happy! It’s so homey and quaint inside and the portions are generous. I learned that they have milkshakes so we’re definitely going back and bringing our pup with us! Thank y’all for being a sweet and satisfying little spot!!!"

"We made reservations for my husband’s birthday. It was his first time. We arrived on time. No other customers were there and we were seated. The waiter told us that the bartender had just walked out and he did not know when she would return and we would not be able to have wine with our meal. As we were sitting there there was a constant blinking on and off of their lights. We asked if that would improve and he responded “no, they have been doing that for a while “. He asked us if we wanted to stay because we were puzzled by both issues. He brought us water as the lights continuously went off and on. We decided to leave and go to another restaurant. I sent a private message to the manager/ owner that afternoon and told her how disappointed we were with our experience. I felt it was fair to share with her what happened. She never responded. A few days later on her Facebook restaurant site she posted a picture and I commented “I sent you a private message “, again I didn’t want to hurt a business by not letting them know about the bartender walking out and that the flickering lights. She never responded. So this is my honest, unfortunately very disappointing review."

"Hi, I absolutely loved 7 brew when they came to Baton Rouge. I’ve told soo many people about it , but today was by far one of my least favorite experiences. Today I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order , the tall gentleman didn’t have any recommendations or as little as a small greeting to make me feel like he want me in line. You must be sure to ask for light ice here. It’s unfortunate after 8 sips my drink is done and I have a cup of ice left over. Lastly my other visits everyone ensure I provide my phone number. I’m assuming this worker doesn’t know about the rewards program. I ended up forgetting. Moral is I just hope that you all keep that same friendly upbeat service to continue to satisfy your customers and allow space for new customers to experience."

"Great place! Highly recommended! My friend and I were in the mood for a curry. Ordered the Yellow Curry and Massaman Curry. Both were excellent. They're open for lunch, then close for a couple of hours, and reopen for dinner@4pm. We got there around 4:00 and they were already very busy with what I assumed were take out orders. Service was very fast and the food came out piping hot. Portions are very generous. By 4:30, the place was starting to fill up."

"On 06/24/2024, I dined at Tallulah. I have been here multiple times. They are starting to display a lot of inconsistencies with their food. I placed an order for lamb chops and some other items. The lamb chops were extremely tough. They also lacked flavor. I informed the waiter. She stated oh, sorry about that. She did not do anything to rectify the problem. It left us with a negative experience. I most likely will not return due to the inconsistency and lack of customer service."

"2nd year celebrating moms birthday and Jubans was on top of things! Our private dining area was supreme and Kobi treated us like royalty. She recommended the Honey Tupelo cocktail and it was superb. Mom loved the Blue Crab Lollipops, I had the warm crawfish and spinach salad, while my brother enjoyed the beet salad. Everything was delish from the Voodoo Chile cocktail to the bananas foster. And I can't say enough about Kobi, she is a treasure with her wonderful personality and the excellent recommendations. My mom thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and our outstanding server. Thanks Juban's for always getting it right, though missed the bread pudding with the caramel sauce from last year."

"Been here a couple of times and this last time was absolutely amazing! Went there to celebrate a birthday and the entire staff was great. The head chef, Jimmy took great care of us and provided a lot of laughs while preparing our sushi and in-between. The sushi here is the best you can get in Baton Rouge in my opinion from the Sashimi Dinner to the Love at First Bite Roll, even the miso is top tier (my favorite in BR . All the ingredients tasted fresh, the drinks were really good, and just the overall atmosphere was great. Highly recommend Umami."

"Absolutely one of the best places to get a good meal with a good amount of food in this part of BR. The owner is the sweetest lady, met her while I was in town for work. Tried the seafood platter for restaurant week, everything was so good on that. And today I got the oxtail plate. Never had oxtail before and my first time did not disappoint. The meat was so tender and the gravy was so good. I couldn't even eat everything because there was so much on the plate. You're basically getting two meals!"

"I usually dont buy coffee in stores but this is an exception! This was my first time visiting this coffee shop and it was great. I ordered a signature drink called the Cinnamon Roll Latte and it was perfect in every way possible. I really like cinnamon so this drink hit the spot. The main issue is that they're massively understaffed and take far too long to move orders, especially during the lunch hour. Some days it's impossible to get a lunch here on your lunch break. "every time I have been here since January, either the manager makes my sandwich wrong or her employees makes my sandwich wrong. I add bacon they don’t put bacon on it. There’s a chicken bacon ranch that I order they don’t put bacon on it then on top of that I will tell the manager that my sandwich is in the way I asked for because when I’ve been into it, I found out and she says I’m not supposed to remake it, but I’ll do it and even if nothing is wrong, the manager always has a nasty attitude especially with her employees.
