"Food drinks: Went there just for food and drinks and to enjoy the beach in the back. Ordered a burger and a chicken wrap, which we shared. Both were excellent. Lounged on floats, played a couple games of cornhole. Decided we didn't want to go home and got a room at the hotel. Noteworthy details: Getting a $80 for a room anywhere is pretty a pretty good deal these days. But a room right on a lake that's steps away from the beach and a bar restaurant is AMAZING!"

"It was ok. I had the club and cheese bacon fries. The club was ok. Not the best, the cheese fries were good except when you try to eat them the paper on the bottom comes up with the cheese and you have to pull the paper off before you take a bite."

"Had to make a quick stop on a long trip, went in and ordered a couple biscuits. The manager said if you can wait four minutes, we will make you fresh ones Well, I didn 't really have 4 minutes but I like fresh food and I wasn 't going to turn down that offer. "I always went to Shun Xing on Brookdale St in Martinsville. I heard the people that operated it went on vacation so I went to the Shun Xing in Bassett. The food wasn’t as good, but what really surprised me is the price. What the Martinsville restaurant prices for the same plate was 8.95. The Bassett location prices for the same plate was 13.95. The containers were the exact same size. It was the first and last time for me at the Bassett location. I’m not sure if they raised they prices because the other location closed for vacation or what. I won’t be going back."

"Step back in time in a clean, cozy, comfortable place with friendly owners who are bringing this jewel back to its former glory. The rooms might not be big or modern but reasonably priced and comfortable, if we had more time we'd have definitely stayed longer....maybe next time ?"
