"We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere is great. Theres a nice comfortable laid back vibe with a touch of class. We ordered wings, caeser salad and pizza. I had the lobster BLT and my husband had the meat pizza. My pizza was outstanding, the garlic aioli was perfect. The wings are charbroiled and have a layers of flavor and spice. The server was very attentive, personable and offered suggestions."

"We pulled into the restaurant and noticed that the "Open" sign was displayed, so we joined the line. There was also an open lane to the left with one car ahead of us. Unfortunately, three cars in the left lane were able to place their orders before us, despite our presence. When we attempted to get the attention of the staff by saying "Hello," we were told that the lane was actually closed and accused of knocking over cones to access it. As a result, they refused to take our order. We did not disrupt any cones or do anything to manipulate the situation. This lack of service is not only disappointing, but also demonstrates a lack of basic human decency. We hope that Chick-fil-A can improve their customer service in the future."

"You will not be disappointed by a visit to The Golden Oak. We had waited for a table for 10 minutes because the place was packed, but this is usually a great indication of a good meal. Our server was sweet and punctual. I tried the 3 egg-garden omelette that has tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, green pepper, cheese and onion, and it was delicious. It came with the option of pancakes or toast, and I chose pancakes. Excellent choice. And the option of hash-braun or fresh fruit, and I'm glad I chose the hash-braun. Everyone on our table was full and happy. My son told me that his bacon was perfectly cooked, which is a compliment I only got from him when I make his breakfast, lol. My important other enjoyed his patty melt, and his frits were fresh and well processed. Friendly environment, excellent service, clean toilets and dining room, delicious food and fresh coffee... Enjoy!"

"My first impression was a wild lol. All the pernil fluid poured in the bag so that my car smells like hot pig juice and Homegirl all my napkins stacked on the bag so that I could not get them to put the bag up..girl seemed fluid....but grace given because there is a really hot day and sick guilt it on that.... Pernil was on point. Flan was also very good. Hopefully my next trip has less action. Oh, and the staff seems really nice. I would still recommend checking this place parking on the side of big billboard"

"Great addition to Caseyville. This is a great small neighborhood sports bar and barbecue, at the intersection of State Rt 157 and Caseyville Road. The owners Tom and Katie (a/k/a Boss Lady) are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They make a point of personal encounter every cartridge and they feel like at home. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, steaks and pub foods, as well as a beautiful selection of beers, wine and all the usual cocktails, shots, etc. TVs that are matched to sports channels can be seen from any seat. The bar is a very good place and there are many tables in the dining area. I made the chicken, bacon, Ranch Wrap with house chips and everything was fantastic. The people next to me ordered a pizza that looked great, and it looked like real, traditional thin crust pizza (not St. Louis style, and they make their own sauce. This is the kind of place where any neighborhood would like to have. Look at it and help them to be successful! June 2015: Went back for Steak night last Thursday and had a great steak, perfectly cooked and seasoned and you can hit the price!"

"The frittata is amazing. Cooked perfectly, packed with cheese and sausage. Amazingly fresh and not overly sweet cinnamon roll. A delicious chai latte with one pump of vanilla was devoured by my children after asking to taste my drink. The breakfast panini was not my favorite so next time I'll just get 2 toes off frittatas."

"The only rating for JTs you need: The first and definitely last time here. I had almost everything on the menu at one point or another and it's all very good. Menu is larger than any of the other Belleville/VBT options. BBQ chicken pizza, roasted chicken, and the Quesadillas are elite. The ranch is legendary. I call it GOAT Ranch. You have a Shanghai sauce that gets crazy when it's combined with ranch for a little other chicken plier experience when that's your thing. Regarding the atmosphere we love Thursdays for Trivia, but every day/time of the week you can almost guarantee to sit immediately. We also tried to take off the Juggernuat team that wins every week. We're here two times. This means that we LOST and that sometimes happens in life. We never have the need to ask the owners to start an investigation into a bar that cheats a scandal like an earlier reviewer. The waiting staff always works hard to create a positive experience for you. You will usually see the same faces week after week. I would be ready to wager that is because the property understands how important it is to appreciate the kitchen staff/servers and it seems thru during the busy hours when they all work together with such cohesion. Half the reason I'm here is because I never feel that my waitress or bartender doesn't want to be there. I dine out/carry out more than most people I know, and JTs is pound-for-pound the best local bar/grill. Stop wasting your time, reading this review and eating or eating!"

"1st time visitors and we were rushed wanting to make it to the Drive inn in time for a good spot. We found the place on the internet and were we surprised to find such a jewel of a pizza place. Fast service, friendly waitress, great atmosphere, good decor, nice downtown setting. We will be back again for sure hopefully next time we can stay for the band."

I ordered a Catfish Po'boy and I'm pretty picky about my fish, it was DELICIOUS! I would get it again, but after I try a few more of their food options. If you like ****'s and pickles, ask for the pickle vodka! So so good, it really brings the flavor of the **** up a notch. Food is cheap, honestly surprisingly cheap."

"My first review was long long ago and really only covered the excellent sandwiches. I have been here countless times since and can assure you the other items here are stellar too. Trust. Go ahead and order what you like, it's bound to be delicious. We often get the chicken meals to share with family. The broasted chicken is always fresh, crispy and satisfying. I love the excellent potato wedges it comes with and the coleslaw is good. Better though is the potato salad (my personal fave here) or the macaroni salad. The individual chicken meals are good too. I usually get the whole wings option myself but wing dings are nice as well, just not as big so.... If you are going for a fish meal I think the catfish is the better option than tilapia but thats always true for me. My husband likes their pizza here. The firecracker chicken is amazing and I'll share if he gets that. One of the best pizzas around here period. If he gets his usual pepperoni bs I'm getting something else. The salads are all pretty tasty. I like antipasto or chef the best but they have good qu7ality meats. The veggies are nice but the meat is what makes a salad appeal to my carnivore heart. True confession. The shocker here are the desserts. Fantastic cannoli and must try cheesecake cones. The cookies are tasty too. You won't think you will eat them after the giant portioned other foid but believe me you'll find room. Just wanted to let y'all know."

"Awesome place. It’s so cozy inside and completely comfortable to sit and read or just hang out. All the drinks we’ve had (husband gets coffee or Americana-styles, I get tea lattes usually) are delicious and just what we wanted. Power balls are the perfect snack. Breakfast sandwiches are so good! Definitely worth a try."
