"I was a little disappointed that the militant were not lactose free, and it did not appear to be options to get a milk that was lactose free. but the fruit tea I got was absolutely delightful and the matcha crepe cake was really good."

"I recently visited one of the best teriyaki restaurants in town and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and delicious flavors. Despite some initial reservations based on other reviews, I would highly recommend returning to this restaurant."

"This place will always feel like home no matter who you are. You are welcomed with a smile and the food is fantastic. The owner knows most of the customers by face and family and has for many years. If you get the opportunity to visit you will not be disappointed. I have been eating here since I was a baby and have never once had a bad experience."

"Literally the BEST crab cakes in the world. I cannot stress just how amazing Seastar's crab cakes are. I've been going to this location since they opened at the Civica building. (I worked for the company that built Civica...so yeah, going since day 1 Chef Howie is so focused on delivering an amazing dining experience. What else is good? Their oysters are always top notch. The spicy tuna roll? I get one every time I go, along with the crab cakes. The sourdough crab and cheddar sandwich? To die for! I just had the tri-tip the other day. It was cooked perfectly. The cioppino is perfect for our cold rainy days. If I had to complain about anything with the tri-tip, I would have liked more than what I got : but I can say that about nearly every single thing I have tried there. They are all so good, it doesn't matter how full you are. You always want more. Be sure to have desert while you're there... the coconut cream pie is amazing, and huge too. Make sure you have someone to share it with, or plan on having a to go box because that's one item you do get enough of!"

"It was my fiancée's birthday and everything was great. Our server was very timely with our drinks, appetizers and main entrée. I did note that it was a special occasion when I made the reservation and we could feel that our server was catering to our needs. Ensuring that our experience at Seastar was wonderful. We've been there several times and the service is always great, but tonight it was even better"

"What a delightful experience! I made reservations a few days in advance to celebrate my wife 's birthday. I called twice to make sure we would get a window side table. However, when we got there we were sat at a 'meh ' table although there was clearly a window side table available. I did not let that get to my head and moved on with the experience. Customer service is absolutely amazing, courteous people with a lot of knowledge about anything you may have questions about. My wife ordered an 8oz filet mignon and I ordered a 16oz 48-day custom aged rib eye steak, we got a side of the lobster mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. I had never in my life experienced such a deliciously well-prepared meal, both of our steaks were prepared to perfection with a toasty outside sear and juicy inside. These steaks simply melt in our mouths. Back to the experience and ambiance of the place: fantastic! at least 3 people congratulated my wife for her birthday and although we were insanely full they insisted on giving her a courtesy desert that they packed for us to eat later. I was pleased with everything about this experience and I hope to come back soon."

"I wanted to take a bite here to eat before a movie. I was able to get a reservation, what I thought it wasn't sleeping at the door. when we arrived, there was a bit of a line because they “short on hostes for the evening.” when I came to the theke, no one greeted me, they stayed only buried in their computers. a short blonde-haired tussi began to cut her eyes on me, she looks up and says: "What? I fed and said, "excuse me"? and her answer was "what do you need?" I told her I had a reservation of 8:30 along with my name, she said she cleaned the table, then she went off to need a break. we waited another 10-15 minutes, which I had to ask another employee, this time a kerl with neck length hair, which was quite separated from what happened around him, what happened with my reservation. he checked and said, "I'm going to sit down after I'm sitting up someone who just came in." so, despite the reservation, they can expect a walk-in to be served in front of them. if I should remove the door bs, the restaurant itself was great. eating was amazing, we chose a classic burger and the new pulled chicken club. the drinks were great, and our waitress was even better – unfortunately I forgot their names. I really hope they get the energy at the front door together, because I would like to dinate here again without ole’ girl and the evil bitter mood. discover that they ask their employees to remove from the etage to take a quick breathing when times are hard and do not pass that to new or existing patrons."

"Loves the seared salmon. I can't do spicy and there was a topping on the seared salmon that was too spicy for me. I was able to wipe it off and enjoy the rest. I paired it with plum wine and it was amazing! I will be back!"

"The family and I love coming here. The food is good, service is friendly and #1 reason great ice cream!! We went the other night and the littlest grand child said grandma I don't want to go through the drive thru I want to go up to the window like we always do. Guess what we did? As we walked to the window she said grandma maybe we can go sit on the picnic tables. Then at the window ordering grandma it's a little chilly, can we sit in the car? So of course we went and parked our car buy my daughter's car with windows open and ate our delivered to the car orders!! Good family memories with ice cream!"

"I really loved dining at this place. Me and my husband went here as soon as it opened at 5pm and people had already started pouring in. We got a table easily. We ordered manchow soup, schezuan dumplings, street side chowmein and rasmalai. Everything tasted very good. The dumplings were okay but not bad. Presentation was great as well. The only reason I deducted one star is because the server's mask was not covering the nose and it seemed wrong given they stressed on customers having masks on (which is definitely a good thing)"

"My daughter insisted that we go here for her birthday and we weren't disappointed! Arrived before 7pm, during Snowflake Lane, and was told it would be 25-30 minutes for a table for 6. They called me in 20 minutes and told me the table was ready, but I was still waiting on a couple family members to arrive. I was worried that waiting an extra 10 minutes would lose our place in line, but they immediately sat us when we were all there! The food was great from the beef soup, pork buns, green beans, fried rice, dumplings, everything! The only down side is that beer and wine is spendy!! Will go again for sure!"

"We faced discrimination. Friends were visiting us from Denver and really wanted to try this place, so yesterday (5/1/22, Sunday evening) we arrived at the front desk and asked for one of the round tables that can seat 6 of us, and they said it can take a very long time like 1+ hour to get the requested table. So we thought we would just wait and take the first seat we get. After waiting for about 40 minutes we are called to be seated and there's an empty 6 people round table to the back of the restaurant so we thought we will be taking that, however, to our surprise we were asked to take the rectangular table near the kitchen that is also along the busy pathway in a congested area while another party (a white family) who came later than us were asked to sit at that round table. We felt being discriminated and immediately brought this up with the manager but she came up with all kinds of reasons why they couldn't seat us at that round table, and did not in anyway try to help. Only option she gave us was to wait an additional 60 to 90 minutes to get one of those round tables which is insane after already waiting for 40 minutes. Anyway we decided to dine in as we were hungry and need to catch the Lincoln square movie show. I've been here multiple times over the years and never had bad experience. Something changed in the recent times and they are not welcoming anymore, and also I feel after COVID this place lost it's taste. Everything we ordered was so balnd and tasteless. Dumplings dough was so thick and dry lacking the juicy flavors. Service was awful and rushed and they misplaced 2 orders. All our food came out to be $193.47 which is still okay considering the inflation and the items we ordered. TLDR: Faced discrimination, poor service, over hyped place that lost it's taste. Never going to be back again to this place."

"The food at this restaurant was disappointing. We had high hopes for the 8 different items we ordered, but they were all underwhelming. The chana batura was difficult to cut and not properly cooked. The faluda with dry fruits turned out to be just rose milk. The samosa chaat was average compared to other chaat houses. The paav bhaaji was also average. The sandwich was decent. The veg manchurian was not cooked properly. The ravva dosa was not good. The gulab jamun was the only item we enjoyed."

"The food here is authentically Japanese and delicious. I found both the spicy ramen and spicy miso ramen to be delicious and not too hot. The chicken karaage and fried squid are also outstanding. Beyond the food being flavorful, the presentation and service is top notch, especially for a small casual restaurant. I regard this as my favorite ramen restaurant in the Seattle area."

"We are out of towners revisited this establishment with our local family on May 6. We came here pre pandemic, but, wow, what a disappointment this time around. The chicken karaage, agedashi tofu, spider roll, and Seattle crunch were subpar at best. The sashimi dish were ok. Basically, all the dishes that required batter tasted worst than KFC batter. While we were waiting for our bill and the busser was clearing our table, we asked if he refill our water and refill a cup of hot water. He looked annoyed and bothered, mumble something, no eye contact or acknowledgement, just walked away. We saw him walked passed the water station towards the back, and when he came walking back he was chewing on something, grabbed the water jar and come back to our table to refill the water but no hot water. With a 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill, one would expect a little more attentiveness and just plain common courtesy toward patrons. My issue is only with the busser and no one else. Aside from the subpar dishes, all other staff members were great. Wishing this location best of luck with the subpar foods in this saturated, competitive market and food savvy foodies."

"Many different flavor and beverage combinations at Mercury?s! My visit is the bee? Knee with soy milk. Their drinks are a little on the sweet side, so I always ask about half the taste. This location is huge, but somewhat loud, so if you work in quieter environments, this is probably not the place. They have a wide selection of different sweets and pastries, as well as sandwiches and salads. If you do not want to wait in line (which can be quite long, depending on the time of the day), take-out was quite practical and fast."
