"I can honestly say that I have officially read all the bad reviews of this joint and cannot believe that we were eating in the same place. First, the Oysters were for a starter. Neither I nor my SO had tried oysters before and that was a great first experience! For dinner we ordered the combination plate from the back of the menu (served over rice, not pasta) and it was DELICIOUS. The wild boar was tender, and the seafood was perfectly cooked, and the spices were simply not mild enough. I didn't want the hots to be offered, so they did it a little for me and it was just right. There was even another meat that was not listed on the menu, which was very like an Andouille sausage, a beautiful surprise ****. Pricing was definitely worth the portion size, only $12 for 6 baked oysters and I think the combo plate was maybe $18, Tops $20. We didn't make it, but we will definitely return when we're back in town! Last but not least, our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu; if I had a question she immediately knew. I have problems with onions and she was able to make recommendations based on my preferences, so I would not have to change the meal I ordered."
