"Bad food. Sesame chicken barely has any chicken! Its coated by a very thick caramel and flour layer. The fried rice had way too much soy sauce, the flavor is too strong. The pork belly ramen soup has a fish flavor. I didnt think I would get a fishy broth ordering a pork ramen. Doesnt say in menu. I could not eat it as I strongly dislike fish, could eat the chicken nor the rice. The only thing that was ok was the pork bun. Out of my $50 order the only thing I could eat was the $3 pork bun."

"As a Food Lion associate, Roma being just a couple doors down prompts me to frequent the spot for my lunch breaks, and I can say with 100% certainty that anyone who walks through those doors will be met with good food and good manners. A personal favorite of mine is the cheesesteak. It’s seasoned well with fresh ingredients and always piping hot. If you live in or around Blacksburg and haven’t tried this place, you really should!"

I love buffalo wild wings general wing options. this time it went with two of my favs, thai curry and parmesan garlic. also not on the burning ring of the firelist, but still delicious. also had the cheese in this time around the trifecta of the bad hearts health choices: this special bww was surrounded by the construction at virginia tech so that a pia can get, but managed to get parking without essential problems."

"We picked up 5 meals and I am not sure which one was the worst. The coconut chicken tasted like candy, not in a good way. I rarely throw food away but after a few bites, I could not convince myself to put any more of this fake tasting food in my body. The beef hibachi was plain and the rice had a weird aftertaste not a good culinary experience!"

"My first time at this restaurant. We were seated and read through the menu. No one came by to get our drink order. We had already picked out what we wanted when a second couple was seated. Then a third couple was seated. A waitress came and got the drink order for the third couple. When she came back she got their food order. Then someone came and took the second couple’s drink order and their appetizer order. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there. No one, not even the two waitresses or the guy who brought the bread, asked if we needed anything. So we got up and left. I know all the townies will say this is an isolated incident, etc. But, they were not busy. There were at least three waitpersons, plus the guy with the bread and the woman bussing tables. This is absolutely terrible customer service and no amount of apologize will bring us back."

"The fried chicken here is fantastic, and I love the variety of side dishes. Cajun baked beans and dirty rice are rare finds at many fried chicken spots, which makes it even better. Plus, having sweet potato pie is a real treat! Visiting this place gives me a taste of Southern comfort, especially since there isn't a similar restaurant nearby in our area."

"This place is in the University city boulevard near the HYATT PLACE. Traditional Mediterranean style food inspired from SUBWAY and CHIPOTLE served in a hand made and baked pitta bread or in a tortilla. Several sides are available like salads. Rice, chicken shawarma, shredded lamb, feta cheese, hummus, Lebanese tamboule, beans, dried tomato mix, roasted chick peas, sunflower seeds. You have three options 1) serving in a bowl 2) tortilla wrap 3) Serving in a pitta bread. We tasted chicken shawarma, shredded lamb and they were very tasty. Environment inside and outside is very good for family or friends gatherings. I strongly recommend this place"

"I love papa johns pizza so I will get further pizza here, but I was a bit disappointed by my recent experience. despite living in blacksburg city limits and less than 10 miles/less than 15 minutes from the shop, the delivery was not an option. I had also asked for extra pfefferoni, but on only half the pizza. Instead we got light pfefferoni on the whole pizza, and it was strange under the cheese instead of above. I don't know where the wires were crossed because it was an online order, not something on the phone that could be misunderstood. However, the pizza tasted good and was ready for picking up within 20 minutes, which was great, and I am glad that they can stay open despite local personal shortage."

"If you are looking for delectable spicy foods, then your search has come to a screeching halt, because Spicity is the place for you. This is some of the most authentic Chinese cuisine I've had the pleasure to indulge myself with, and I was certainly not disappointed. The atmosphere is very enriching, and it enhances the overall dining experience. The waiters were extremely nice and provided good insight into what dishes to try. The dry pot chicken is an absolute must try, and many of the beef dishes are incredibly flavorful as well. They perfectly cross the line between spice and taste, and anyone who likes spicy would will be delighted to eat here."

"We have stopped going to the Blacksburg Panda Express and now drive the few miles on to the Christiansburg Panda Express. Not only is their food better, but they rarely run out of specific entrees and their employees are super nice. Every time we went to the Blacksburg Panda Express they rarely had our entrees, some if the employees do nit know what they are doing or are super rude or they were closing early and didn’t want to make any additional food before closing…whatever!UPDATE: Apparently now ANY orders placed online you must walk inside the building for pickup...no more going through the drivethru. This is ridiculous and just increases the chances of spreading the COVID virus. We have continuously had problems at the Panda Express...my order on wasn’t available earlier this week and it took forever to get my money back and now no pickup of online orders thru the drivethru. My next visit will be to the Panda Express in Christiansburg or China Inn.Usually I have a great experience at the Prices Fork Rd Panda Express, but lately they have REALLY been slacking. Because of allergies I can only get one or two of their meals, but they are usually out, it has to defrost or I have to wait 8 minutes for it to cook. These are common entrees and you would think that they would have it ready based on demand. It took me almost 15 minutes to get my money back because they charged me at the drivethru for my meal, but they were out of my entree and only had some they were waiting to defrost. The manager wanted me to keep my receipt and come back the next day to get my meal...I guess she didn’t want to give me a refund, but I wasn’t leaving until I got my money back. I understand sometimes you run out of food, but this is a high traffic restaurant in a college town...get it together, keep items flowing. All is well though...went next door to Firehouse and got an excellent sandwich!"

"My husband and I choose this place for my birthday dinner and it was the best decision. When we came in, it felt like a home. The owner is wonderful, he takes his guest seriously and so are the employees. Our server was so nice. I would say the menu is limited. For us who only eat chicken, we had only one option, but I must tell you that their signature buttermilk marinated chicken is a liter. We had hot cherry cake with ice cream for dessert and Uncle Don/Aunty Gini for drinking and they were also lit. Totally great experience."

"I'm trying to stick with healthy food choices and b Zoe's makes it easy. I'm fairly new to Mediterranean food and haven't tried the entire menu, but the dishes I have had are delicious. We had lunch catered from Zoe's a few days ago and they supplied a wonderful assortment of options and whole bottles of salad dressing. They are very conveniently located in First and Main. The salad was very fresh and the chicken kabobs were yummy. The pita bread was so delicious with the three types of hummus they gave us. If you haven't tried them, do it soon."

"Some Chipotle locations have the tendency to somehow accidentally get spiciness into things that should not be spicy, and this was one of them. I don't know if they shared a spicy spoon with something they shouldn't have, or if whoever was working on the cooking went heavy handed with a spicy ingredient, but the end result was inconsistent with what you'd expect from a Chipotle. My kids and I had a hard time with it. That was disappointing, but not enough to bring it below 4 stars. I will probably avoid this location in the future though."

"We came to the city for a game at VT. If we want to travel a local experience and refuse to go to chain restaurants, this time we were happy enough to get over Abbys! The pork chops were great, the potatoes were so good and everything had the homemade taste! Out Server (Larissa, I think) was very attentive, even the only server on the ground. Thanks for a great lunch!!"

"They have a wide selection of excellent sandwiches. A traditional deli style sub shop with good meats and cheeses. The subs are 6-in and 12-in. Their sandwiches are served on a wide pan bread. Quality bread all around. I ordered the reuben and it was quite tasty. I would have preferred it hot. I thought she put it in the microwave but when I got it the sandwich was still pretty much room temperature and slightly cool. I've had their chicken salad said before. All are well done. The only small flaw I see with them is that they serve Pepsi products instead of Coke products. They also have cookies, and the wide selection of chips to go with the meal if you get the meal."
