"the portofino in bonn is conveniently located near the autobahn. we spent a night in the double room. the prices for a double room are breakfast for two persons at 100€ per night, for a single room at 60€ incl. 1 breakfast. can sound a lot for a hotel about an Italian restaurant on a main street, but I have found nothing similar in bonn. the room was modern and very clean. only manko was the missing fön and missing hook in the bathroom. the breakfast was very rich. there were fresh rolls, also with chalk etc. a plate with cut and vegetables as well as a plate with scattered materials. juice and coffee was rich. Check-out is also possible up to 15 o'clock. a plus point."

"The second visit made us quite enthusiastic. For a special occasion, everything matched the evening. Before the previously requested table, the warm welcome by the owner and the good selection of aperitifs and longdrinks. Then the tasty 4-course menu with excellent truffle tagliatelle and delicate lamb fillets, the wonderful wine (also the sweet wine to dessert and above all the attentive and very facing service. We find the service more professional than in comparable restaurants of similar price category. Grazie mille, a magical evening. We'll be back. The terrace must be wonderful in summer. Yesterday, the May weather was still too moody. First visit: A little outside our catchment area, the forissimo took a good kitchen and excellent service on Saturday night. We were satisfied with the current 3-speed menu. At Lachs-Carpaccio the ginger fits very well. As still three oysters ordered n°4 (15€ from the daily ticket. The Vinaigrette was pleased with it, the oysters were wonderful. The beef fillet (Garpunkt well met and the grape were good, but also left the wish to try another main dish next time. The final white chocolate mousse with plums still very Christmas for February, but very good. It should have been a cloud. In the case of the filet, perhaps."

"bonneria is very nice and cozy furnished. the brot with aioli is freshly baked but unfortunately when cutting too very flatly pressed together, which naturally changes nothing on the good taste and the aioli tastes. I had gambas all you can eat: you get a teller with gambas in a delicious tomato sauce. I have ordered 4x and it has been less and less soned, which I found a bit bad. the price performance ratio at the court is unbeatable. all in all a successful evening and we will come again."

"disappointing evening! service very bad we were the third time in sa finca and had happy to have a great evening. as we come from far away, we had planned the evening long, organized babysitter and reserved an overnight stay. we have an intermediary, although we had long reserved in advance. appetizer came fast and was very tasty. after 1 hour there was no main court to see. on request we were told that many regulars would be there who would request courts and not order a la cart. it would be very unpleasant to them (where we can't buy anything for them). they gave us the cost of drinks and the appetizers. that's it. we are not going there anymore!"

"We had friends to visit and wanted to shave them to a beautiful place in Bonn. Our knowledge is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Bonn, especially in terms of ambience, decor and vibe. Most restaurants have ok food with really no emphasis on ambience. This one combines both. A bit expensive, but it is worth visiting once. Would definitely go back!"

"there is a strange situation in reviewing this site. Although most reviews are positiw, they first see the negative. I was not discouraged by them and I was right. location: very chic, in quiet beautiful neighbourhood. service: very good. we arrived at 7 o'clock in the evening and it was quite full, only 2 empty tables. Nevertheless, the personal was friendly and took our order very fast and drinks and eating came very fast. it was a little oily for my taste and it needed mix with sauces (that's why, maybe, some of the visitors complained about blown flavor.) we had mixed tapas, calamari and oktopus as openings and dorada and grilled oktopus as main course. the food looked nice and tasted very good. prices are in order, not cheap, but not expensive. a very pleasant experience and evening, try it definitiw."

"The actual food was fantastic, but the service was so poor it ruined the meal. I was served with a steak that was undercooked (ordered medium, recieved medium rare) and after asking the kitchen to correct the issue, the waitress came back to the table...and claimed that because I spoke english, the medium I ordered was dofferent from a “German medium” even though my German partner originally ordered the steak for me. I do not reccomend this restaurant to those traveling to Germany for the first time and still learning the language. It is ashame my meal ended with me in tears."

"This is our favorite Indian restaurant. It's pricy but the food is very tasty and good. Even if it's very empty you have to bring time, it can take a while until your food is served. It's not a restaurant where you will be in...and out in hour. You can also do take away, and I would recommend to call in your order...the prizes are the same as if you would eat in the restaurant. Interior wise it's nothing special, I personally think they should give the place a makeover the good food they serve deserves that...."

"Had a wonderful light lunch here after a long day of traveling via trains. Servers were very friendly and kind. I got the spanakopita and Greek salad both very delicious. Tomatoes could've been a bit fresher and more crispy, but otherwise very satisfying. A lentil soup appetizer and some sort of cake for dessert were complimentary, even though we didn't order much. Nice outdoor seating at the foot of the St. Remigius Church, where Beethoven was baptized and learned the organ."

"In all points, I can give 5 stars. The best thing is that you thought of everything up to the smallest detail. For example, on the ladies' room there is a hack to hang things up. In each cabin there is a small antique wardrobe to put the handbag on it. On the wall opposite the sink, the wall decorated with artificial flowers to provide a great background for the selfie lovers"

"we couldn't really enjoy our romantic dinner for two because the tables were so close together we were in a round with four strangers at our date (two couples on each side.) we couldn't have a private conversation because everything was overheard and we could hear them. was important that the waiters could not even stand next to our table, so that they had to get over my man to put objects before me and wee. I had to command the waiter to scream about the table and my man had to turn around again and again to talk to them or go away from them when they leaned over him. we had no personal experience with the waiter, and this is a farewell to a 'fine-dining' restaurant. eating was good, but we wouldn't come back here because we don't want to see it again. the waiters were very good and did the best they could in this situation. customer comfort should be more important than how many tables they can press in."

"One of the best Italians in Bonn. The card offers a wide range of food, the service is experienced and reliable. It is recommended to make reservations if you want to go there in the evening, as very often all tables are occupied. But even with some patience you can also wait at the front of the counter until a table becomes free. The prices are full of what you are served to convince the quality and taste. Clear recommendation for this cult Italian!"

"So far the best brewed coffee I ever tasted. I’m not a coffee person but I do drink mostly macchiato or cappuccino or anything with much milk in it when I needed to because of work mostly night shifts. And this has been recently my...goto coffee. I fell instantly in love with their caramel macchiato. You can utterly taste each ingredient, the sweetness of caramel and that deliciously aromatic brewed coffee. So after shift, I grab myself one when I’m craving"

"mam mam is beautifully situated in the south of Bonner and offers Vietnamese cuisine. the dishes are tasty and tasteful, but sometimes they miss the little love to detail to really wake them. they have many vegan dishes, but they are not clearly marked on the menu. I have not checked with the personal when they know which are or can be veganized. they are all very friendly and since they cook fresh, I'm sure they would work."

"It was our first time there and the food made a positive impression. Seemed quite authentic. The fish I ordered the Dorade was tender and delicious. The wine was good as well. However, the whole place had a strange smell, like old frying fat. If that 's an indication of the quality of their French fries or other fried dishes, then I wouldn 't order those."

"I have never seen such a wide selection of vegetarian food both hot and cold anywhere. The restaurant is situated inside a block of offices and shops, in summer sitting outside is possible away from the busy shopping streets. It is strictly self service and the buffet of salads is to die for, just fill your plate, place it on a scale and pay per weight, same for the warm dishes, hence you can combine. At meal times it is usually very busy, therefore sometime a bit loud for my taste."

"Sehr haben wir uns auf diesen Besuch gefreut, denn ich war seit meiner Kindheit nicht mehr 'Beim Mahler' . Wir waren am frühen Abend dort und es wurde sehr schnell voll und man merkte dieses Lokal bewirtet auch sehr viele Stammgäste! Wir waren sehr enttäuscht mit dem Essen, so hatten wir uns doch sehr auf die Pfifferlingsgerichte gefreut. Die Hälfte von uns hatte das argentinische Rumpsteak und die andere Hälfte das Pfifferlingsomelett. Das Fleisch war gekonnt zubereitet und in der Mitte auch schön Pink aber leider zäh wie Gummi - schlechte Qualität? Und das war leider kein Einzelfall sondern betraf 4 Teller! Das Putensteak war super und das Omelett..ganz gut. Ich habe auf das zähe Steak aufmerksam gemacht was aber lediglich vom Chef mit Achselzucken angenommen wurde. Es war viel los aber natürlich üblich für einen Samstag. Leider bedienten nur zwei und Getränke blieben oft leer, wir hätten uns einen aufmerksameren Service gewünscht. Uns fiel am meisten jedoch die schlechte Luft auf. Kein Fenster war offen, das Restaurant war rappelvoll, sodass einige unserer Gäste öfters nach Draußen gingen um frische Luft zu schnappen. Wir haben trotz allem noch ein gutes Trinkgeld hinterlassen! Schön zu sehen, dass es das Restaurant noch nach so vielen Jahren gibt...das soll ja was heißen! Aus diesem Grund, werden wir es gerne nochmals testen, jedoch nicht an einem Samstag Abend."
