"I loved this place growing up. Wanted a fancy Italian dinner with friends. It was horrible. I got the garlic and olive oil pasta with the special salmon. Raw garlic!!! It was inedible. The salmon was super dry. Also the app was a joke. A huge plate of melon with four little slices of prosciutto. The bruschetta was tomato sauce with a little bit of cheese. I will not be back."

"Stopped in today for lunch. We ordered the 2 item combo. We had the French dip sandwich, with a delicious toasted French bread and French onion soup. The soup was cheesy but a tad bland. My daughter said her burger was delicious. Overall, the service was great. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. We also had the zucchini sticks, which were extra crunchy and delicious. We asked for a side of Ranch dressing, which made them perfect. We will definitely come back and try something different."

"Absolutely 10 of 10! The food was great. Don't let you out! I've been here for years and I've never looked into the place. But a friend said it smells good, so we went to explore and it was a jewel! "Phenomenal experience! Our waiter Jason gave us some excellent recommendations from the menu. The food was exquisite, fried Brussel sprouts, wow!! (Thank you Jason)! Grilled shrimp tacos, steak sandwich made with sliced New York Strip, Cuban handheld and a plant based burger. Not one complaint from any of us, can’t wait to go back again! "My Daughter and I had a very nice experience here, first^ time. Late lunch, not crowded and very clean and friendly staff. Our food was cooked perfectly, we were pleased to hear our burgers could be cooked to medium temperature. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients, Very nice bar, good selection and prices. The Cabernet wine that was suggested by the bar tender was very good. Girls day out was Awesome and we WILL go back to this restaurant!"

"this was our third time gamekeeper to visit. eating and service, as usual, were excellent. the crispy salmon bell assizer was raised. the bison short nativity was good. if we have a complaint at all, it is that the room was something on the warm side. the windows were open and ceiling fans were up, but it felt a bit warm. that would not prevent us from being in the opposite."

"My wife and I stopped by for lunch during a recent mountain trip. The burgers were good, the fries and sweet potato chips were really good, and the milkshakes were excellent. They have ample outdoor seating and each outdoor table has directions for ordering and pickup a QR code linking straight to the mobile ordering site. I think it's a fantastic way of managing their extremely busy order load. Parking could be a challenge at peak lunch time; they have a paved lot next to the restaurant and a gravel lot (where we parked) right next to the main lot, and we still watched plenty of cars struggle to find a space. I would recommend the grocery store lot just up the hill in that case."

"This restaurant has the best food and wait staff that you could ever ask for. I want to start off by saying I was greeted by a wonderful group of waitresses. The food here is the best bang for your buck that you can ask for. My waitress Gina and her co workers Riley, Ally and Lucy did an amazing job at showing team work while running each other’s food and drinks. Because of this, no tables were left unattended and I truly believe this place deserves a pat on the back. However, I did not have the pleasure of meeting a server by the name of Braden apparently also known as Dean. After my meal, I spoke to the kitchen staff about how amazing the food was. The pantry chefs Cameron and Eric did an amazing job at preparing the Brie puffs and prosciutto. After speaking with them I began a conversation with the other two chefs named Tommy and Oliver about how well they cooked the food. I have to say I will definitely be back every Friday from now on."

"I'm from Florida visiting the area with my special family. We stopped for an early dinner. When we were eating at Dan'l Boone Inn for the first time, we were very impressed by everything! The property was easy to reach and very clean. The outside had an old antique car on the display and a beautiful garden area to take photos with the family. The interior had a warm and welcoming home feeling. The menu has been displayed and it is all you can eat for a price. The way this works is like a buffet, but you sit and the server brings you the food. Homeland cooking is what I would have expected to be served on a peasant table. The food was Yum Gooood! I don't eat much, but I had to have a second help for Steak! Each table is set with fine land porcelain panels. From what I can say looked like every table had its own patterns and color of dishes. The service was impeccable! And leave some room for Dessert!"

"Looking for a really good spaghetti and meatball led me to Bellas. The reviews said they were good, but honestly, I am picky. The first bites of very fresh salad with homemade blue cheese were delicious. Nice brown cheese was a pleasant surprise. I forgot to ask for extra Marinara what I usually do because I hate a small sauce on a ton of noodles, but no worries here... much delicious, hearty Marinara and two huge meatballs. Absolutely? exactly what I wanted and hoped. Homemade, rich and tasty. I will be back without question!!"

"excellent food and service. beautiful atmosphere and friendly people. had commanded decent complexity, party of seven with children. all the entrees that we are excellent, and the timing of drinks and appetizers were in front of location all foods were made in the house and not from a box. they were the details that really turned out like the freshly roasted bungalow on my burger the housemaid chips for my son. also a pleasant selection of drinks. would definitely recommend."

"My husband and I came to Boone, NC, and found this little jewel. We thought it was only a wood-fired pizza joint first, but then we realized it was a local brewery. The food is delicious. We had the fired wings and my husband said they were the best wings outside of Buffalo, NY he had ever. We also share beef pizza, a seasonal speciality inspired by the Show The Bear. It was so tasteful and unique. This is definitely a place to add to your trip when you come to the region of Boone. The pink velvet and the Boonetober brews were so good and our waitress Jackie was so friendly and very helpful."

"A stack of fried comforts (feeling pleasures) eating on my business trips to Boone. Take usually even a good restaurant is spicy. But with Mike I have a Small Two Item combo. Great value and BIG enough for two FULL meals! My meal with less than 45 minutes before closing Risky, right? It was hot, fresh and not an oily aftertaste. Salad was solid, loaded with real bacon and cheese. Everything a growing boy needs, right? The portions, the taste, the bread all the upper notch. No nice place. But perfect for what it should be. Besides, it's been months when I went to Boone and they remembered me. They loaded me with all the sauces and spices I needed and sent me happy. This is a place where I want to be a local."
