"Stopped to get a quick bite at Zer Mili on our way to Zermatt. What a huge mistake. While rated as one of the best restaurants in Brig, Zer Mili was one of the worst restaurants on our trip. The food was so incredibly mediocre, it’s clear you are only paying for the view. You are also not there for the atmosphere, which felt like a funeral where all the attendees are also deceased. I nearly fell asleep while waiting for a summer bowl that should have taken less than five minutes to prepare, but instead took nearly 30 minutes to come out. It was a bizarre combination of vegetables, (poor quality) fruit, two pieces of lettuce, over buttered rice, and dry chicken at a cost of 25CHF. I’ve had better bowls at fast food restaurants in the US. My partner’s meal was not any better and instead of the salmon he asked for, they brought him chicken. I regret the money and time I spent at Zer Mili, and I caution anyone who is planning to go there to go only for the view not for the food."
