"Got breakfast here this morning and it was very disappointing. The teenage hostess unenthusiastically made my handicapped mother walk to the furthest table possible (literally all the way in the back, far corner) after which she gave us utensils that had some unidentified liquid on them. We asked our server, Nick, for fresh utensils. He took our order and got us fresh utensils. We both ordered the build your own breakfast that is supposed to come with biscuits and gravy, each. After waiting 30 minutes, our food finally comes out and my eggs are prepared wrong. Another server brought the food to our table. I explained the eggs were not prepared as ordered and we were both supposed to get biscuits and gravy but only one cup of gravy was brought to the table. The server took back my plate and brought out a new one some time later. Did not bring out the other cup of gravy. Some time later Nick appears again and starts asking if I ever got my food then rushes off. He appears a few minutes later, again freaking out that I didn’t get my food. I explained we got the egg situation corrected but still no gravy. He disappeared and then showed up a few minutes later to give us the check and ask if we needed anything else. My mom asked if it would be possible to get another cup of coffee and he said sure and disappeared. While we waited I attempted to pay the bill by scanning the QR code on the receipt. A bill for $53 pops up when our order was only $32. After a few more minutes, Nick appears to pour a very late second cup of coffee. I asked him about the bill and he again disappears. We wait what seems like another 5 minutes and he comes back and tells us to just pay upfront. We walk to the cash register and I hand the woman the receipt, she rings us up and lowe and behold, the wrong bill pops up for $53. I explained to her what happened when we tried to pay using the QR code and that Nick told us to pay upfront. She says there isn’t anything she can do. I said I’m not paying $53 for $32 worth of food so she calls a manager. We wait a good 5 minutes in silence. My handicapped mother, who has a hard time standing, decides she can’t stand anymore and she is going to the car. The cashier calls for the manager again. Another 5 minutes pass. And a third time! Finally someone responds and she says she needs help with customer assistance. Another 5 minutes later, Angela appears. The cashier looks to me to explain to Angela what happened. I explain and she says ok, takes the receipt and disappears for another 5 minutes. Finally, finally we get a new bill and I can pay. I get that it was a busy Sunday but messing up every part of the restaurant experience including the paying part is just incredibly frustrating. Definitely going to think twice before returning."
