"The fall menu at Urban Hearth is a fantastic , colorful and tasty array! The New England Nosh board is a delicious combination of fruit preserves , cheese and cured meats . The small plates were a mixture of meat , fish or vegetable centered dishes outstandingly flavored. The large plates were savory, and wonderfully plated. I brought friends from Europe there and they appreciated the fresh farm to table flavors and warm service. We sat outside on one of the last lovely evenings of fall on their wooden patio, well lit with string lights and decorated with foliage. We adore Urban Hearth!!"

"We called at 8:15, and the host was kind enough to take our order while we were on our way. We reached at 8:40, and they closed at 9 , but their service was top notch. In no way did we feel rushed. We came from Salisbury and will definitely be returning. They serve Halal food. The food was exceptional, so juicy, we ordered the pondicherry shrimp, the lamp chops, the chicken Tikka kebab, and the tandoori chicken. Everything was very delicious. It's definitely a hidden gem. Loved it!!"

"I have enjoyed Harvest in the past but last night was an exception. We were seated near the noisy kitchen at a table where the lights were out/ not functioning. I ordered a glass of wine which was not poured at the table and it was a fair bit warmer than room temperature. They did offer me another glass. The ribeye steak was a cooked rare as we asked but very fatty about 1/3 of a 16 oz steak was fat. I like a well marveled steak but this was excessive. All in all not the best experience and I’m not sure I will return."

"Please do not get the french onion soup $18) or the short rib tortellini $38) This restaurant was extremely disappointing for me. I had high hopes for it. It is in a great location near Harvard square and it has a nice outdoor seating option. However, there was much to be desired. The french onion soup looks amazing. However, I should have taken another photo without the melted cheese. There is hardly any actual soup. The color is grey and cloudy. It tastes faint and muddy. There are far too many mushrooms and too much cheese. I have never, ever not finished a dish in a restaurant and this was one I did not finish. It was taken away half finished and nobody asked if there were any issues with it. The french fries were good. However, the two dipping options were some aioli and just regular Heinz ketchup. I wish the other one was something unique as well. The real disappointment was the main dish. The short rib tortellini was a small dish with exactly 7 tortellinis. The tortellini itself was not al dente, as another review mentioned. It was slightly under that and needed 1-2 minutes more. As a result, it had quite a bit of a bite to it, and the taste was not pleasant. The short rib filling was tasteless and texturally unforgiving combined with the underdone pasta. The sauce it was in was rooted in Asian flavors, which did not round out the dish. The carrots and potatoes were an afterthought, adding nothing. They were both underdone and some pieces were legitimately hard. Again, no one asked how my dish was. I am sure Harvest has some great dishes. These two were not those. I came here for an anniversary dinner and was excited. My girlfriend had a great dish, so that is a highlight. However, I am writing my review on my own experience. The service was subpar. I was not asked how my food was and everyone just seemed a little cold and distant. For $150 I expect something pheneomenal. And I was left wishing I went anywhere else."

"One of the best culinary experience that Cambridge can offer. As one of the top 3 Mediterranean restaurants in Cambridge, Oleana certainly did not disappoint. I’ve been to quite a few upscale Mediterranean restaurants, but Oleana was one of the few places that can masterfully combine the authentic and contemporary elements of Mediterranean cuisines. Oleana focuses more on the Turkish dishes which also makes them stand out a bit more, We started off with the whipped feta which was a great representation of how spices are used in Mediterranean dishes. The subsequent hot meze plates Vermont quail kebob, moussaka, borek, trout spanakopita were also spectacular. While the spice levels have been compromised to make the dishes more palatable, the subtle scent of different spices was adequate to make them interesting. For the entrées, we had the lemon chicken and the Istanbul fish stew. Lemon chicken was covered in za’atar which is a mix of different spices, and the cheese pancake underneath perfectly compensated for the slightly dry texture of the chicken. Istanbul fish stew was the only menu that I thought was a tad bland, but it was still a nice introduction to Turkish food. We finished our meal with their signature baked Alaska which was phenomenal. Under the melted zesty meringue were some coffee ice cream and coconut pastry, and I enjoyed every bite of it. Co Highly recommend trying them out, but make sure to make the reservation at least two weeks in advance."

"Tried their Boat noodles with pork and with beef, as well as their Thai fried rice with Chinese sausages. I love the broth of their boat noodles the best when I compared it other Thai restaurants that I visited. Their broth is on lighter side (not as thick or as strong and fatty as other places) but still very savory. The veggies in the broth are fresh and still crunchy (not soggy as result of letting the veggies sit in the broth for along time). I prefer pork slices to their beef slices, since the pork slices are more tender. Their Thai fried rice is excellent as well. Overall, it is a very good value in terms of price and serving portion"

"I love our servers. Both took the time to chat and make sure we were clarified. I liked the quality of raw seafood that was fresh. The Caesar salad $14 9 protein) comprised three pieces of shrimp, so it could have been moderate or elevated, but shrimp MPs jumped in 2023, so I did. The ambience and seating were superlative and could no longer praise the service quality."

"Had $1 oysters in the summer. They were fantastic, very fresh! The new outdoor seating is great and they had an absolutely fantastic orange wine as special at the time. The great thing about this place was that the oyster happy hour was at a decent time (Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, if I remember correctly! . "The food at this restaurant was delicious! They roast the vegetables before making the salsa, which adds a unique and tasty flavor. The guacamole was also a hit with us. We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa so much that we were quite full by the time our tacos arrived, but it worked out nicely for a treat the next day. Eating outside with the gate surrounding the area and the string lights added a cozy atmosphere, making us forget we were actually in a parking lot. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our water glasses were always full and our needs were met. I highly recommend Ole and am looking forward to returning!"

"The ideal restaurant. A place to feel comfortable eating outstanding food and drink. Great well informed service, relaxed atmosphere. The food lives up to the hype and the prices are sensible. Serendipity brought my wife and me to A H. We went to the Fogg Museum in the afternoon and then wandered Harvard Square thinking about dinner. I joked that we should check out A H, even though I had no idea where it was. I looked up and there it was across the street from us clearly a sign from the culinary gods. We decided to see if we could spontaneously grab a drink and an appetizer at the bar. We walked in and immediately found seats at the bar with no reservations (a little bit after 5PM. A couple of hours later we stumbled out of there happily fed by the raw pumpkin salad, the secret secret burger, pork belly parpadelle and some exquisite drinks. What really made it special was the bartender who in a very relaxed and informed way answered my wife's barrage of question about every dish and drink. Oh and we struck up a conversation with our neighbor at the bar who was drinking alone, waiting for his two girlfriends. It turns out he worked at the restaurant in the past and now works as a beer and cheese expert at a local store nearby. He is the one who informed us of the secret secret burger. All in all a great culinary experience."

"Overall the food was pretty tasteless. The clam chowder was horrible and I could only stomach a couple of spoonfuls. They did remove the cost of the chowder which was nice of them. The prime rib was certainly not worth the price nor the 2.5 hour round trip car ride I endured to get there. Only the Salad a dessert was ok although the dessert was described as an ice cream sundae but was only a scoop of ice cream with a small amount of caramel sauce and a few chocolate crisps"

"My fiancé and I recently had our tasting at Commonwealth and we were incredibly impressed. We are looking forward to hosting our wedding there this spring. The Chef was not only talented, but also very sweet and passionate about his craft. The general manager and bartender were also fantastic - kind, thoughtful, and genuine. "Friday night at 6:00 is a lot to do! We could sit fast. Waitress had our soft drinks on our table in moments. We ordered the Artichoke Dip served with roasted Pita bread. Unbelievable appetizer! Prime Rib and Sicilian Strip Steak for Entrees that were cooked exactly as ordered. This is a first-class family restaurant that offers fabulous appetizers, steaks and dessert. An hour in and out! "We really enjoyed the spicy sesame ramen and the beef ramen. The spicy ramen is flavorful but very mild in heat and moderate in salt. While the decor of the small restaurant is basic at best, the toppings on all the ramen truly made the dishes. It was not crowded when we went as two people but I would definitely recommend making a reservation if your party is larger or trying to eat at peak times. We didn’t have sushi but saw other tables with it and think you should skip the sushi because the ramen portions are very filling. The staff are friendly and maybe overly talkative. One Ramen Sushi is the third ramen restaurant I’ve visited and would say it’s my favorite so far."

"made a reservation for dinner on a saturday evening. the place is very small inside, but very nice. we ordered the strawberry fields, the aracini (that day it was spinach and cheese), the gnocchi, and the eggplant pasta. the drink was OK (a little small and not amazing for $15), but all the food was delicious especially the gnocchi. four stars because they did not bring us the complimentary bread (that every other table had) until we asked, and even then, it was only a packet of bread and not the included dip."

"Had the prime rib...it was excellent. Not the best I've ever had but definitely in the top 10. Red skin massed potatoes were very flavorful and the union rings rock, very krispy and delicious. The service was excellent fast and friendly!!! My brudda got the fish n chips with fries and he said it was great except for the tartar sauce, he said it was rather bland but the waitress took it upon herself to put a new one together adding horse reddish sauce and such to add some flavor to it. Very attentive and helpful staff! I'd highly recommend anyone to stop in and enjoy a great meal and atmosphere."
