"I am a regular customer here. Justine and her brother run a very nice restaurant. They are both very friendly and take the time to talk to everyone. They know their regular customers by name. Their other waitstaff employee is a pleasant person. Yak Yeti 's buffet is extremely good, as are their vegan menu items. The food, whether on the buffet or off the menu, is freshly-prepared and well-presented. The mo-mo platter with vegan dumplings is awesome! About half the buffet dishes are vegan and can be served over rice. While the rice is tasty, I 'm not thrilled about having rice everytime time I go there. I 'd prefer whole wheat chapathi or roti as a second grain option on the buffet. How about serving amaranth, millet, or quinoa to mix it up? Other reviewers have raved about the vegan cheeze cake. I have not tried it yet and look forward to it! Consider making a vegan version of kheer. Staff do not know how to cook okra. They don 't cook it long enough, and the result is a slimy and tasteless vegetable. I 've tried to discuss this matter with them and encouraged them to cook their okra until it is completely cooked. Okra that is done is not slimy. To date, they have not taken my friendly advice. This is my only disappointment throughout my entire experience at this restaurant. Yak Yeti II has booths, tables, as well as traditional low tables with cushions. If you sit at the low tables, take your shoes off before entering that seating area. Also, this restaurant is BYOB. If you go there for lunch, they have a frequent flier card where you can get a free buffet lunch after about five or six buffet purchases."
