"This beautiful picturesque café is absolutely wonderful and so welcoming! We accidentally discovered it at our first visit to Cedar Key and after our morning coffee we decided that this was exactly what we wanted to celebrate my birthday this night. Our supper was amazing, even the bacon crumbled fudge cake! The Christmas decoration was breathtaking and the ambience service was perfect. The music on the old turntable adds such a beautiful touch to the place. The berries are fantastic, thanks guys for this little treat. This place is a 'must' for all who visit Cedar Key, only wish that we stayed closer, as it is our regular visit to Café, love it and will definitely be over again if in this way"

"We came in for the Seafood Festival and that was a lot of fun. Then we decided to try dinner here. Wow, what a great meal! First, the place is so nicely decorated. Upstairs is the full service restaurant and downstairs is the bar. We stopped in for a quick refreshment downstairs. Wonderful water views, laid back and reasonable prices. Then we came back for dinner upstairs. We were greated by friendly staff and got a table right by the window! Double win. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, bowl of crab bisque and the wild fish sandwich fried. The sandwich was large enough for 2 people and delicious! The crab bisque was my favorite. The only recommendation I would have is to throw in some bread with the crab bisque. Or offer a bread basket for purchase. We dipped some of our sandwich bread in and wow so good!! We are excited to come back with friends and family. It is a cute place and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Thank you for a great meal! :"

"we had a party of 10 to dinner 4. juli for fireworks. we sat on the terrace. we asked if we could change the tables and it was no problem at all. the restaurant was muded and everything we wanted, we received. food was good! service was good! we're coming back! unfortunately we had to listen to a table sue about unrealistic expectations to such animated night. I mean, who complains about being bad over a meal eats the whole meal and is annoyed when the cost of the meal was not taken out of the bill? I'm sorry that management had to deal with this nonsense in such an extremely busy night."

"On the way to Cedar Key to lunch. What a hidden jewel!! The atmosphere was eclectic and extremely welcoming, especially for a family with four Kiddos. The staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic!! All 6 of us got another food and everyone was so wonderful that we couldn't wait to share it with each other. "It doesn't look like much and without AC it makes a hard choice on a hot day. But it's cooler to go there with all the fans that half work AC at all other bars and restaurants. "My wife and I have celebrated our 3rd anniversary during our last stay in Cedar Key. We were very satisfied with our experience! We decided to eat outside as the weather was pleasant, and enjoyed everything we were served. We had both breakfast chicks and shared a sequence of their blueberries French toast. The French toast was made from heidelbeer bread and was covered with blueberry butter and a blueberry cocoa. All right! Our breakfast was accompanied by a very nice kitty that roams in the neighborhood. The staff knows him and calls him Garfield, but we thought he looked like a Montgomery, so we called him Monty. He loves eggs and bacon fat and will provide support in exchange for these products."

"That was by far the best clam chowder we have ever eaten!! We already bought it in our local publix, as we are back home now. The Chowder was so tasteful and the shells were the tenderest I've ever eaten!! Also had a seafood po-boy and a fried fish sandwich- both deep fried to perfection with light but crispy bread. I would highly recommend this place and will again ne Tvyime we are in Cedar Key!!"

"With a change in management comes some heavy duty critics. I eat here once a week and I never have anything but delicious, freshly cooked food. Their specials are yummy and creative. The salmon cake sandwich was great and served with a big bunch of specially seasoned fries for a very reasonable price. Their fudge is hard to resist--especially the key lime! My go to is the grilled chicken sandwich with the can't-do-without broccoli salad. It's not fancy, it's totally Cedar Key. Staff is some of the friendliest around. You won't be sorry you stopped by."

"Amazing burgers and beautiful view! My husband and I sat outside right next to the water and saw dolphins and manatees while we were enjoying or our meals. We also got the groovy fries to go with our burgers and the were to die for! They didn't have beer on tap do to renovations, but their food definitely made up for it. We will be back for sure!"
